2010 NCAA Football Season

LOL! :D

What's the spread on that Penn St./Bama game? If Bama beats up on them after they beat LSU in the mud last year, there's gonna be a little dread in Baton Rouge come Nov. 6. , unless Les turns things around a bit. ;)

I THINK it is around 14 or so. A suckers bet.

I will bet these are two of the biggest (in size) QBs to play in one game.

I think they said 250 for Newton, and around 240 for Relf

Based on your prediction this past week, I feel alot better:p:D

Well I'm a fan, so I'm unlikely to speak about wanting to lose a big game... :)

Still, VT did control that game in many aspects - stats show it which resulted in only a 3 point drop in polls that can be gained back in just a few weeks :up

Exactly what I was thinking Ramy. That ND contract NBC signed a while back has been a big let down but for one or two games (which ND still lost).

Didn't we hear recently that they are re Upping with ND ?

Completion of that contract should reduce the bid by Comcast for NBC by a significant amount. :D

NBC, #4 and striving to be #44

My dream scenario for the season:

Miami - beats OSU, loses to Pitt, loses to VTech, beats FSU
FSU - beats OU, beats Fla
PSU - beats Alabama (or Bama loses to Fla), loses to OSU
OU - beats TX
TX - beats Neb
Unlikely that anyone in Pac-10 is going undefeated (Or Oregon State wins the PAC)
Boise, TCU or Utah run the table.

Then sit back and watch the BCS honchos sweat and try to justify why either Boise or TCU/Utah are not deserving of a national championship game (or both for that matter).

Ok....but I STILL feel they do not deserve it because of lack of competition. Because then you have Miami, FSU, OSU TX and OU would be more deserving of a BCS championship than an undefeated Boise State, TCU and Utah...even with two loses because of their much tougher record.

The thing has always been....to reward the best records to the teams with the toughest competition. Now just because the you go undefeated you DESERVE to be in the championship game....even if you played inferior competition?

Sorry....I disagree.

If anyone wants a good complete college football schedule showing broadcast networks, this one is very good: 2010 College Football Schedule

Listings are by each day games are played.
A really good listing I use every week is at Football 2010
Shows all OTA & Cable (including RSN's) Listings, and usually has the ABC/ESPN Maps up by Wednesday.

Bama is a 14 point pick over Penn State ?

I'll take the points. :D

Not with a true freshman start at QB for Penn State AT Alabama....;)

Yeah, I'd stay away from this one.
