I tried to sign on to Websams this morning as well. No luck. I also had emailed SRL about a recent programming addition I had made - and they haven't emailed me back yet. I'm betting that they're working on getting themselves linked up with the Comcast system right now.

I just tried WEBSAMS a few minutes ago and it works for me. Hopefully it still works tomorrow so I can get subbed.

I just tried Websams too (after receiving an email from SRL regarding a programming change question I had for them). It is working fine again for me.

For those of you still brave enough to venture around the DCII "waters" -has anything strange or unusual happened yet? I've got all my DCII equipment, both consumer and commercial, out of the stream 'till everything settles down. :popcorn
If there's any dirty deeds being done, I haven't found them as yet. Mainly watching my W5 subs on a 905. Did a guide download at 7:30pm. Still have 70 usable sats in list, etc. Trip counter has slowed down to about 10 hits a day.

Saw speculation that the moto stream may go down about noon, so I want to update guide in the morning and get all there is. Also saw optimistic speculation that Moto already fired all the 4d engineers and no one's left that knows how to shut it off, what a hoot. I doubt that but will keep on looking. After a day or two of nothing except generics and open channels then I'll call SRL for the new sub.

Well, so far I have seen a lot of words but all it's all conjecture so far. Most of it sounds like nonsense.

So far looks like a typical 4d day. Just reloaded the guide. It took 3 tries to get it to fill its belly past 7pm, but thats been buggy at times since it came out of the box.

Don't expect it to be a typical 4D day tomorrow on G1-3 unless they have something up there sleeve that you won't like. I foresee if 4096 goes down gracefully today, that all 4096 stream channels will go MP, the guide won't update and thats that. They could go for one last round of turn off hits for the next week or so if they want too.

From what I'm reading, I expect it to change by this afternoon. Watching to see what all happens without 4096. Will it affect our non-sub channels having no EMM provider? Will the saved guide info vanish or hold till it runs out?

It should be an interesting day one way or the other. Not sure how much we will miss Moto.

Right now I have my 4DTV unit tuned to X4 channel 234 (Vh1 Classic). I have the Diagnostics A screen up, and I have my computer capturing the video right now. Right now things seem to be on auto-pilot for 4DTV. My receiver has taken an authorization hit in the past hour on the 4096 EMM provider.

I am working from my home office today. I have VH1 Classic running as my background music, so as soon as it goes silent I'll know that the stream has gone away.

Its awful quiet here, are you guys busy testing? This afternoon 4096 has disappeared from my "providers" list but still shows as my provider.

I had last guide update at 11:30 am worked fine then but now wiped clean and no reloading.

4096 is gone we are in limbo right now. 4160 is not up yet.

That pretty much says it..

My receiver has stopped receiving authorization hits. I still have audio and video on all of my subscribed channels on W5 (I only have W5 subscriptions). I've tried sending rehits through SRL's WebSAMS page, but am not receiving any hits.

Menu 67781 still shows EMM provider 4096 for me.

I guess that they are in the transitional process of setting up WebSAMS so that it talks to the Comcast computer. At least they've left the signal in a state where we can continue to receive our subscribed channels...

Good CK ;)

I'm hearing some folks guide is still playing out. Mine wiped clean the same time as 4096 left and is showing not enabled. Wonder if the NPS enabled bit stayed on? I bet the info is still being broadcast as at least 80% of it was channels we couldn't get. Guess there's no way to get the bit enabled.

Still no real change.. It's 8:05PM Eastern. SRL's web page still says another hour and a half. Take your time guys and get it right, my programming is still working, so life is good here..

I'm pretty sure that they're burning the midnight oil at SRL and Skyvision.

I know what it's like to work some late nights - You guys at SRL and Skyvision better order in some pizza.. Trust me, you'll work better on a full stomach.

I'm going to check back in a couple of hours from now.

We have been though some different electronic conversions (not in this arena) in the past.

The past 3-6 months have been tough for those folks involved.
The past 30 have been crazier!
And the past 2 weeks have been just nuts for everyone. Everyone involved is probably almost brain dead working on this.
When they eat the pizza, I hope they think of Charlie and NPS:p
So many people need to be thanked and BIG TIME, we appreciate all your hard work
We all can wait a couple of days, no problem;)

Originally, the new programming wasn't supposed to start until the 5th. I wonder if there's a contract that says that in which case Motorola still owns the airwaves until midnight.
