Why are you apologizing to Tiger fans? You should be apologizing to White Sox and Indian fans. Could've been another game we would've gained on them. Grrr.

I think Fister will pitch well this evening; he seems to have settled into a routine with the Tigers. To be honest, the Royals are a pretty good hitting team but their pitching is horrible. Can someone post the starting lineup for this evening? Also, where do you find them?

I didn't check the board again before the game or I would have posted it for you. I get the lineups from the Official_Tigers twitter they usually have it up a few hours before the game. Today's is already up so I'll post it for everyone.

Fister pitched great again last night. If he keeps pitching anywhere close to his last two starts I think he will be our clear number 2 starter in the playoffs. I think he has passed Scherzer as the 2nd best in the rotation. That's assuming we hold on and make it there.

Crossing fingers and toes that my Tribe isn't out just yet. We've still got a month of ball left and we just won 4 of the last 5 while Detroit has lost 2 of the last 3.

With the depleted roster (Brantley latest to be shut down for the season), we're going back to small ball, great defense and timely hitting.

Tigers come back from 2-4 to 5-4 in the bottom of the 8th! I only got to listen on the radio because it was a day game but even with that it was an exciting last couple innings and a good win for the Tigers.

Actually they will have only won 1 of the 9 inning games, so they only would count 1 game !

Today is also the start of expanded rosters. Any player who is not on a roster today is not eligible to be on a playoff roster. Today the Tigers reinstated Guillen from the DL. They also brought up Jacob Turner, Will Rhymes, and Andy Dirks from Toledo. They called up right handed pitcher Luis Marte from AA Erie. This will be Marte's first trip to the big leagues.

I'm glad he doesn't need surgery. He could help in the playoff race but unfortunately if the Indians did make the playoffs he would not be eligible because he is not on the roster as of today.
