I just received the latest software update (0x59e) to my HR24 and tried out the new Pandora Radio feature.

However, ever since trying this out, the receiver seriously lags and is very slow to respond to commands.

Anyone else noticing this problem? It's really annoying.

If I hit the "Menu" or the "Guide" button, it literally takes 7 or 8 seconds to come up.

No problems here, had that version for a few week and didn't have any issues.

DW, try doing back to back reboots, that sometimes will fix things.

Mine was so slow it was painful. I did a force update last weekend and it took me back to older version....much better. No pandora and and such but thats fine, the slowness was making so mad. I'd punch in a channel number and it didn't do anything so I try again and then it decides to take and I have all these numbes punched in....aggravating as hell

Yea...Mine has Pandora an everything (which sucks as it changes the HDTV resolution settings). It's very slow just like you said. I want an older version. This blows.

This really does suck. I don't want this Pandora feature at all anymore. I just want my receiver to go back to working properly. Fix this crap DTV.

Both of my DVRs got this firmware a couple days ago, and it broke My Directv, and All Movies is still unavailable. It has also been slow / unresponsive (whole home is unbearably slow), and pandora never showed up. I'm thinking I may go to CE just to get my DVRs working right again...

Anyone get this issue resolved? Mine is horrendously slow using any type of remote command in relation to the guide. Forwarding a recorded show is ok. Another problem when I click to play a show, the screen continues to display with the recording information and menus with the tiny picture on the top. I have to physically exit out to see the entire picture.

Try two red button resets in a row to flush out the cache.

Does this fix the issues the OP raised?

For those who think they don't have the problem, have you opened Pandora's Box at any point?

Take it easy. It helps with the lag the poster above mentioned for a while along with some of those other bugs. If you're here to troll instead of giving the OP a suggestion that would help then please move on. I'M well aware of the issues since I've gone through some of them myself. if you have better ideas please do share. It would be appreciated.

no lag but NON-HR24

Me either but sadly many are reporting this issue with different model dvr's. I was having some of these issues until I d/l the CE from a couple of weeks ago for the HR24. No problems yet.

I tried the double reset.....locked it up lol had to unplug and it wipped out my quicktune. smh
