RTV 87W move?

I had them good on both satellites before the change. I can't get anything at all on the new transponders on both Sats 87w and 137w. Both of my 10 footers and the microHD, nothin.

I'm not having any issue getting the new mux on 87w with my MicroHD and 10 footer in Michigan. Same strength as before. Perhaps people with issues should try deleting all the transponders on that sat, and then do a new blind scan?

Can't hurt to try...

OK I got mux @ 137W on the microHD. I fat fingered the SR on the computer, corrected that and got a strong signal :). I have picture and no sound. Apparently MyTheatre can't pick out the audio pids. Non of the channels show an Audio pid. Interesting. I have the TNN channel. The microHD will not show the picture but has sound, the computer Has picture and no sound LOL.

Audio should be AAC, to the best of my knowledge, so if your tuner does not support AAC, then you will not be able to hear it. The audio PID should be one above the video PID, in most cases, if I'm not mistaken.

To my knowledge, the HD feed on 87W is black at the moment, and so the ones on 137W may also be black at the moment but I don't know for sure.

3920 H 29125 @ 87W I have 40Q [MAX]... 4000 H 29125 @ 137 is 76Q with fluctuations to 78(that's what the two old tp's on 87 were) Tried bypassing all switches. BUD Tune-up checked and rechecked, it's spot on 137W to 55W.
Deleted not only that TP, but all TP's on the satellite and rescanned. Rebooting receiver also.
Guess I'll have to settle for the 137W tp. 10ft steel BUD, C2 LNBF, S9, I just dunno, i'm stumped.

I've been hearing about certain receivers having issues with it for reasons I cannot explain.

I have been informed by various people that the AZ Box Premium Plus will not pick up the new RTVs at SES2 3920-29125-H-S2-5/6-Pliot off and AMC7 4000 same info. I have reports that the Openbox, Pansat 9200, AZ Box Elite and the new Traxis HD receivers will pick them up on dishes 6ft or bigger. All I get is a bouncing signal. I tried a pole adjustment with no results. I have been told that it's a frimware problem with the Premium Plus. I did a TP scan and the channels scanned in, but are not strong enough to watch. RTV East still has it's Ku feed on AMC9 11735-4440-H-4:2:0 SD.

My Pansat 9200 picks up the video just fine..but no audio..does the microsat hd support ACC/DTS..mite have to get a new receiver..

I tried scanning it=won't scan in with this Vantage box. It WILL scan in 32 empty channels on that transponder, all of which say "No Name" and have 0 as the freq in mhz, and 0 as the symbol rate, zeros as pids! I think it lost its marbles... I can still see it on 83 though, for what little I watch it. I don't think they need an HD tp for that stuff they show anyway, do they?
Edit: I was talking about the 3920feed, it might be there now-but I can't make it so, with the 10' SAMI. haven't tried 137 yet, because I may have to cut a tree or two to get that sat back again.
2nd EDIT: Ok, the Vantage is smarter than I am, it scanned in those same 32 channels just now, working perfectly. Well I only looked at the first 3-4 channels but they are stable now, have the PIDS and audio working as should be . (Vantage does AAC audio, the only one I ever saw that had AAC listed in the audio options).

The Luken muxes are on 87W 3920 H 29125 and 137W 4000 H 29125

The other ones have been turned off. Sounds like whoever sent the update can't get the new mux

Only 1 Luken MUX on 87W! I must have been sleeping and missed this change. The last time I looked there were 4 Luken MUX's on 87W.

but the 2 new ones were duplicates of existing channels. It was dual lit for a while I posted this earlier int he thread

I think RTV combined their transponders and reduce redundancy. Most of those affiliates the only thing different was the top of the hour ID. So why have 25 affiliates with the same thing?

While doing a complete rescan of all satellites with my microHD it found the RTVs with no problem. I noticed the TNN HD channel had music but a black screen with a video resolution of 576i. This is with a 10' dish. Picture quality to me seems more like 83W now. To my eyes it was sharper before.
