2013 NFL Playoffs/Super Bowl

It's still two weeks away, but I'm going on record now and picking the Ravens. I'm convinced this is their year, and I also think Joe Flacco has turned into a big game QB.

I too hope the Ravens win .... as hard as that is to do being a Steelers fan.

I really like Ray Rice, watched him in College and knew he would make it big, why he lasted as long as he did in the draft, I don't know.
The Steelers sure could have used him.

Now, being a Steelers fan, them being out of the playoffs this year, I had No Rooting interest ....

IF I were a betting man I would be very rich by now, betting against the teams that I wanted to win.

See each week, I went with the team I wanted to win and I don't know if ANY of them actually won a game ....

I think the Pats were about the only ones I wanted to win that did, they beat Houston and I figured that would happen, but most of the teams I wanted, lost, Seattle was another one.

I picked both games wrong today, but would have won both ATS. I'm still baffled how the Ravens were getting 9.5 points by the oddsmakers.

Patriots got dominated in the 2nd half. Ravens earned the victory.

Oh and another huge drop from Welker in a championship game, ugh.

Ray Lewis good for you. Joe Flacco played a helluva game.

Bernard Pollard can go to hell, dirty POS.

I can never root for a team that has him or Terrell Suggs on it. I hope the 49ers win by 50.

Plus I'd like to see Randy Moss get a ring.

Brady looked very average today.Reminded me of Matt Ryan.:D

While I'm glad the Pats aren't going this year,it sux that it has to be the Ravens. This is one of the least interesting SB's ever for me.I really don't give a crap who wins.Lots of respect for both Harbaugh brothers, and I do like Kapernick but despise the Ravens and Niners.

Got a good laugh out of Dieon Sanders on Nfl network a while ago. They were showing some of the medias names for the super bowl. The Harbowl, the superbaugh, and the brobowl.Deion said it would have to be called the brobowl II.lmao Referring to Dungy vs Lovie a few yrs back.

I believe that this year's Super Bowl will be more exciting to watch than if the 2 teams had met last year. An Alex Smith versus Joe Flacco Super Bowl would have had perhaps two of the dullest QB's ever. However with Colin Kaepernick as the 49ers QB & Flacco really upping his game,to quote Brent Musburger,"this game is going to be a real humdinger(although I've never actually found this quote in the "Brent Musburger Drinking Game" rules) ."

Congrats to the Ravens- the better team won tonight, and there will be a HarBowl.

A couple of things:

1. I never root for an injury, but I wouldn't shed a freakin' tear if someone took out Bernard Pollard. Brady, Welker, Gronk and now Ridley. How many more Patriots is this guy gonna seriously injure??

2. Thanks for the memories Wes Welker, but it's time to move on. You've come up short in big games too many times for my liking.

i was already worried about this game when the pats lost gronk but thought you would still win.also the lack of a deep threat is killing you guys. welker can forget about that dream contract he was looking for. he makes a very tough catch then drops the following one that was easier??? when i saw that i felt NE was in trouble because imo that drive was key. so i strongly agree with your 2nd point! plus the loss of your starting corner didn't help at all either.

so i guess i won't be watching any espn for the next 2 weeks seeing how they're going to make a huge deal out of the brothers facing each other in the super bowl and ray lewis crying allover the place. i'm surprised he hasn't dehydrated yet from all the tears. i'm good with emotions but enough already with all the drama. i'm interested in football, not a soap opera.

I hope the niners destroy the ravens......

^^^
how's that for an emotional response ;)

Harbaugh Bowl

Looks like my wife got her wish. John and Jim in the SuperBowl. She wants Jim to win of course, and the 49ers are favored. But it's about time for a "Bird Team" to fly away with it :) Go Joe!! Can't help myself, always been an AFC guy!

Go Ravens!! I can't stand the 49ers either though this is purely due to the old rivalry with the Cowboys. :D

Hey did you know that the Harbaugh's are brothers :) How would you like to play a drinking game to that the next two weeks....

Bill Belichick stiffs CBS after the game, Shannon Sharpe rips him for being poor loser http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-s...-game-shannon-sharpe-rips-034609666--nfl.html Patriots QB Tom Brady and Coach Belicheck not so patriotic during National Anthem and nother reason not to be a Patriots fan http://twitchy.com/2013/01/20/patriots-qb-tom-brady-not-so-patriotic-during-national-anthem/

Saw that and there is merits to Sharpe's comments. But the BS of "...oh that's Bill being Bill...." Some players, owners and coaches get away with more or less doing whatever they want, and some don't.

I agree with you and Bill is known for this but every other coach has to do post game interviews win or lose and he shouldn't be able to get away with it.They should all have to follow rules the same way. imo :)
