2013 NFL Playoffs/Super Bowl

One of the best most positive thing that Joe Flacco did to improve himself from last season was he shaved off that stupid "Village People" mustache he had last season. All that was missing was the black leather jacket, chaps,& hat/cap. Hey Joe,you're playing for Baltimore, not San Francisco...........

Bill Belichick stiffs CBS after the game, Shannon Sharpe rips him for being poor loser http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/bill-belichick-stiffs-cbs-game-shannon-sharpe-rips-034609666--nfl.html Patriots QB Tom Brady and Coach Belicheck not so patriotic during National Anthem and nother reason not to be a Patriots fan http://twitchy.com/2013/01/20/patriots-qb-tom-brady-not-so-patriotic-during-national-anthem/

Jim Harbaugh refused to be interviewed by FOX after the game and during the trophy presentation. Once again, selective and faux outrage from the uniformed.

Yes, Tom Brady hates America.

Not faux at all. He AS WELL. For as much as I respect Bellicheck's genius, he is still the leader of the jerk pack... With the Harbaughs in that selective club as well.

How about flacco plays at high level on a consistent basis ,then we can talk about whether he's "elite " or not....

Maybe he can be elevated to "great" status,he does have a while to go to "elite" status. That said,I remember when everyone kept calling Terry Bradshaw "dumb." Compared to the last Ravens QB to lead them to the Super Bowl(Trent Dilfer) though, Flacco is "elite."

He is just below elite still. To me, you gotta have two SB wins under your belt. But he beat the Pats last year if that that WR does not drop that TD late in the game. As far as I have seen, he has OUTPLAYED Brady the last three times they have played.

But he is a VERY good QB....no doubt.

I do believe that Flacco has been improving as QB. I would consider him better than he was last year. I know you & I do agree that he is still the best QB that the Ravens have ever had since their existence as the Baltimore Ravens.

I can't really say super bowls make Qbs elite since its a team game and you need a solid team to win super bowls. As long as he doesn't make the mistakes, ravens have a chance no doubt. I can not deny he's played very well this post season. they have nice offensive weapons and a tough running game.

Of course, and he's improved Roy. He's thrown 8tds and 0 int's this postseason. can't argue with the numbers.....

he's way better than a romo in the post season. He just needs to play like this consistently.

Like I said in a previous post,if the 49ers & the Ravens had met last year in the Super Bowl, you would have had 2 dull QB's,Alex Smith & Joe Flacco, who could have been interchangeable with each other, they were that alike to me. This year you have Colin Kaepernick & a much improved Joe Flacco which will make this year's Super Bowl a much better game to watch.

The Patriots won three Super Bowls in the first four years with Tom Brady as their QB. Since then, eight seasons have passed and they still haven't won a fourth Lombardi. All postseason losses are hard to accept, but some more so than others. This is my list of worst postseason losses (#1 being the worst, IMO) in the Brady/Belichick era:

1. 2006 AFCCG @ Colts- this was one of my favorite Pats teams. The receiving corps was relatively weak (remember Reche "Bug Eyes" Caldwell and Doug Gabriel?), and the defense was aging but still very gritty. The week before, the Pats went into San Diego and beat the #1 seed Chargers, and then had a 21-3 halftime lead in Indy before the Colts came storming back to win, 38-34. The Bears were there for the taking in the Super Bowl and payback for SB 20 would have been their's. I still break out in cold sweats thinking about this game!!

2. 2011 Super Bowl vs. Giants- I put this ahead of the other Giants Super Bowl because the Pats had this game won and couldn't close it out.

3. 2010 divisional playoff vs. Jets- IMO, the best Pats team since the undefeated team. They were steamrolling every team in their path (most notably blowout win in Chicago in a blizzard, Green Bay on a Sunday night, and the 45-3 thumping of the Jets)

4. 2007 Super Bowl vs. Giants- one would think this is #1 because of the going for history angle, right? Yes it stung, but the Giants outplayed the Pats in this game and deserved to win (David "Velcro" Tyree notwithstanding). It reminded me of the Pats win over the Rams.

5. 2012 AFCCG vs. Ravens- This one hurt in a different way. There was no crushing last minute defeat, but I really thought the Pats had a chance to go all the way.

6. 2005 divisional playoff @ Broncos- lots of turnovers and questionable calls in this game, and losing to Jake Freakin' Plummer always hurts. But missing out on the first threepeat in the SB era is what really hurt.

7. 2009 wildcard round vs. Ravens- Pats were going nowhere this particular season anyway, so this one stung the least.

8. Missing the playoffs in 2008 despite losing Tom Brady in Week 1 and still going 11-5

One thing is certain. Bellichick is the most classless coach in football. I could like that organization if he wasnt such a Baby. What a terrible representative of an organization. You would think after all these years he could grow a pair and act like an adult.

I have very little interest in the Super Bowl this year. This is the first one I can think of where I don't want either team to win.
