Anyone noticed that getting Blockbuster disks at home has suddenly slowed to a crawl?

You mean further into the ground. ;)
Very true. BTW, I didn't read this entire thread. How's the movie availability for those who don't have Dish Network BB@Home? Service suck just as bad for "regular" BlockBuster members?

We have one BB still open by me, selection is not to bad, in fact part of my strategy is to get a movie off the cue that has no wait then go to the store and get the movie I want that has a long wait for BB online

That's what I did until my store closed.:(

Can anyone list the movie channels that are in the BB@H package, and a subscriber would lose if they
dropped BB@H?
Thanks,

I either got the worlds newest CSR, or even blockbuster support is going downhill.Closed my account and emptied my queue towards the end of April and titles kept on being shipped somehow. The last titles never got checked back in.Wanted to make sure i wouldn't be charged.Had to basically walk the guy through the info he should have had in front of him.on top of that he didn't actually answer my question.

Mochuf,
Thank you for that list. I didn't realize all of those channels were included with the BB@H package. I guess I'll be holding on to BB@H, rather than loose all those channels too.

It takes forever to get a disc then i receive one and when i try to play it it says "incompatable" . Not my machine as i then put in 5 other disks that worked, then theirs again and still no go. it is a bluray and i have a panasonic bluray. The disc doesnt have a code on it, but it says made in usa. I assume it was a region 1 usa. Anybody else have this happen?

Firmware shows it is up to date. I reported it and they are sending a different copy. Will see if that one works. Barely want to see the movie, it is the only one available out of the 26 in my queue. And most of them are not new. Last time I actually TALKED to a bb rep she laughed when I told her "to have 10 available titles in my queue" I would have to have 300 or more movies in there, and even then there isn't a guarantee to have 10 AVAILABLE.

The last rep I talked to, I had to hand hold and walk them through their job.Atleast I got someone where english was near a 2nd language for them.As oppoed to a few weeks ago where it was 3rd at best and even that was a stretch.Actively choosing nothing over blockbuster right now.Not regretting it at all. However, I still laugh at those of you who are the root cause of your own blockbuster problems. After all, there is a difference between renting movies they have in stock and a turn around time being over 8 day vs actively choosing to only queue movies they don't have and complaining when you get nothing sent.

OK. Finally having failing service like all the "negative" posts in this thread. My "discs at home" has been clear for 2 days now and now processing or shipment of the next disc. I have 27 titles in my queue and 5 show available now.

Since when is being honest considered "negative"? Others could have said that you were "drinking the kool-aid" about the service. The service was great for me, until my local store closed. But now the weaknesses of it can't be covered up by in-store exchanges anymore.

Bluffing3,
I think you need to remember that a big part of the problem with BB@H is the fact that they have very little kept in inventory, so trying to choose movies they have in stock is extremely hard. Along with the fact that you don't know what's in stock until you put it in your queue. I have spent close to 2 hours trying to add movies that were in stock, and as I've stated once before, 90% of the movies in my queue are from 2010 & 2011. I just watch the movie that BB@H took 3 weeks to send me. It was the only movie I could find available. It is called Wicked Lake, and it was one of the worst movies I ever seen. Very, very, low budget. That's not why I signed up for BB@H.

You misconstrued "negative". There are both negative and positive comments in this thread. Until now I have only had positive experiences.

Try putting one of the "available now" disks at the top of the queue. It should ship next day.

Actually, Cloud Atlas is at the top of my queue and it is showing available now. #2 is Mother and it was showing available now until this afternoon.

Now, at least it is showing "processing"... Maybe the call to Dish got something moving... :)
