Dish America Packs coming back?

Some channels were not negotiated to be in the package or require that certain SD channels be included with their channels.

I am kind of surprised to see the packages back myself.

That's the big problem, the missing channels. Otherwise I'd be very tempted.

Me too. If DA Silver came with AMC and FX I would switch over to that right now.

You don't take a website down to, say, add channel packages. If the site is down, something broke !

If that was the case then why does Apple take down their store before they announce new products?

Needless to say they are making changes to the website. It will be fully up and running at full power shortly.

Silly Dish.... They should have produced a channel lineup card that included the SD and HD channels and next to the applicable ones (that require the SD channel to also be offered), add an asterisk with the note "Requires suitable equipment" !

On a related note to this thread's topic, bring back HD Absolute too !!

Pffft - Apple does that for the dramatic effect !

You know very well that Apple could have the new items loaded up and ready to be listed in the store and simply have a "visible" flag toggled OFF until they are ready.

Was also reported in another thread that NBCSports is now available in Dish 200 but I can't find anything to confirm this. Does anybody know if this is true.

Will be interesting to see if they post the packages once the site is up what channels are available, would be interesting to see how they stack up against other packages
