Hopper with Sling Upgraded to S512

I hope next update they fix the OTA start early/end late settings.
Would love it, but I don't expect it anytime soon. DISH took from May when they broke the ota sub channel name based recording feature ,till November to fix it. So 7 months to rectify their mistake. They are still more obsessed with adding and fixing those worthless applications, that most don't use or care about.

In this S512 software version I have noticed something new (unless I haven't noticed it before) in the Common Counters list HDD temp readings (Yellow - Blue - 3 - View Counters - page down approximately 13 times). In between the degree reading and F, there is a square box with FF & FD in the box. Does anyone know what the FF & FD mean?
I looked on the Joey, still running the previous version, and didn't see that. If I remember, I'll check on the Hopper this evening.

I just checked my regular Joey S382 and it has the square box with FF FD. No telling what it means. Thanks for checking.

Was watching some programs semi-live yesterday and noticed a pop-up for a few seconds on the bottom right stating, paraphrased 'If you want to watch this from the beginning press select and choose another airing'. Don't remember seeing that before S512.

You could always press search and it would provide the same info and ability to schedule an advanced recording.

Lol. I will take bluegrass HD request and feature request anyday compared to some of the ridiculous requests of some others. I just hope to never hear about the EPL ever again. I know it's popular, but not having that is like when AMC went down. Except it's never been offered on Dish from NBC, so I don't get the complaint.

i know everyone would like too see new hd channels you know what i say if a channel on dish has a hd feed it should be added sorry i keep asking for more hd channels maybe one day every channel will be in hd on dish and i will stop asking for more i know some of you folks would like to see new apps also added the only one i am interested in right now is tunein radio it would be nice to listen to satelliteguys or any other radio station that streams on the internet.let me know what you guys think of tunein radio to come to dish hopper.sorry about me ranting i love being on satguys where at least you can express your opinion on different topics in the dish industry or whatever comes to your mind

i rather get back to the topic at hand i am done ranting for a while

Ohh. We do IHeartRadio(I have never heard it, but heard they just recently changed names) here. I wouldn't mind that app, but that one would be thrown in the category with Netflix, since Pandora already exists.

Kinda odd, people complain about too many channels, and they want more added? If anything I would think DISH is tightening up with all the deals going on, and the FCC reviews etc

If I want radio stations, I'll use my Roku.

Frankly, I'm already recording more than I can watch. Yet I STILL want the military history channel.

The way I seebit, if they add them, cool, if they don't, cool. As you said, there is enough for TV Viewing already. It's always nice when we get more, but I am content where I am now. Especially with this latest software version, I am 100% happy with my tv needs.
