HBO For 10 Bucks

It might be targeted. My email offer says it ends 11/25.

This would seem to be the correct end date.

While watching Oprah Winfrey's network last night, I came across a commercial for the $10/month offer for HBO.

It gave a phone number to call. If I wrote it down correctly, it's 1-866-794-6201.

I paused at the end of the commercial to read the fine print. It said "Offer expires 11/25/15".

I had the 1/2 off deal for 6 months. It runs out in a few days, that was my 2nd back to back 1/2 off deal. Chat rep was able to put me on this $10 hbo deal. I'm glad, this is something we like and use frequently, it's also cheaper than hbo now.

HboNow is $14.99 per month and is internet only, they do offer a free 1 month trial.

This deal thru dish for $10 is available on satellite and access to HboGo.

It's no doubt the best deal going thru dish. If you're thinking about it don't hesitate act quick.

For those who wonder what the difference is between HboNow & HboGo I posted a screen shot below.

Also got this the other day in the mail. It shows the HBO $10/month offer. At the bottom it says "Offers end 12/31/15" which would make one think this offer actually ends on New Year's Eve.

Yeah to enlarge that, click on my attachment, then click on "Open in new window" which should be in the upper right and then click on the image itself to enlarge it.

So, that puts the evidence back on the "targeted" expiration date for specific users.

My half off expired yesterday, I saw this ad and forgot to jot down the number. Luckily Jessica from DiRT hooked me up and I am set at the $10/month price.

Mine did too a couple of days ago. When I logged into my account just, there was a pop up window about it. Problem is, I just don't watch it until GOT comes on anymore.

Does anyone know if DTV is offering this or is this one of those really super special offers (yes its rare) that Dish is offering exclusively? It definitely is a good marketing move but i highly doubt Dish is making that much money at that price.

To me it proves that DISH was charging too much for HBO, if they can now sell it at $10.00 a month. I always said that $19.00 a month was ridiculous, especially since other companies charged much less. IF DISH does go back up on the price, there is always HBO online version that sells for $14.99 a month.

Define "much less". This had been discussed before and all other providers at the time were charging within a $1 of each other.

The only times I have seen one provider or the other be 'much less' is on some sort of time limited deals. You know, 1/2 off for 3-6 months mostly, with some cable companies doing the same thing but for 1 year. The 'regular' pricing of all the premiums is within a buck or two on every provider I've looked at.

Of course the streaming only HBO/Showtime subs are cheaper but that's because you are getting less. The Dish 'everyday price' of HBO @$10/month is interesting and a great marketing move IMO. Take less money and it is enough less that cancelling HBO would be a less occurring event since I suspect that re-subscribing wouldn't be offered at the $10/month rate.
