2015 MLB Postseason

The WS doesn't start until Tuesday. That's six days!
Yup, thats a long time to be off in any sport (other than football of course). (football wise would be like being off the month of Dec and playing on New Years Day and expect to be sharp ... Oh wait, that happened every year for a long time in the Big Ten.

They said last Wednesday that Cespedes couldn't raise his arm over his head(I'm not sure which arm is injured). Based on that,6 days hopefully will be enough for him to heal,& at least play DH while they are playing in KC(or Toronto, since the AL series isn't over yet). You obviously missed the part that "meal ticket" Yoenis Cespedes was hurt & couldn't play the game last Wednesday night. Give Cespedes the time to rest & heal up.

Last Wednesday night? You mean yesterday?

Cespedes came out of the game in like the third inning and it is his left shoulder. They are saying it isn't serious but supposedly he was going to get a cortisone shot for it. The problem with DHing Cespedes is you lose his arm in the outfield. There's nothing they can do about the layoff that's the way it goes. Just hope Murphy stays hot.

If the Royals win tonight then they'll have a four day wait, which is only two days shorter than the Mets. I doubt that the wait will be that much of a factor. Use that time to get your players healthy,& your rotation set. If I were the Mets,I'd worry more about facing the Royals than the Jays

Me too. I'll admit, I'm esastic that the Mets are in the World Series. Didnt think they'd sweep them. Murphy has been on fire and the pitching is gritty. Even when they dont have there best stuff, they gut it out which is what you want. And yes, I'd rather play the BlueJays as well. If the Royals do win, I hope that the Royals dont have there pitching lined up right so we would have an advantage.

He gets a cortisone shot, he'll be as good as new the next day at the latest.
