NFL 2015-16 Season

Is Peyton coming back at all ?

I would not be at all surprised to see him retire at seasons end.
From what I saw with the Broncos-Chargers game, the Broncos offense overall was playing very cautiously with Osweiler. I don't know how they'll do against the Raiders next week, but the game against the Steelers the week after will be a rude surprise for Osweiler & the Broncos offensive if they don't open up the offense. The Broncos have to play against the Steelers & the Bengals as if Manning isn't coming back & Osweiler is it for them. They're playing for home field advantage, not "I hope we make it to the playoffs."

The Broncos are playing Brock Osweiler like a "caretaker," a game manager. They need to open him up & risk an interception or two. I think that he threw for 160 yards today. He almost threw an interception,I wish that he did. He's not taking risks,he's playing it safe,& that won't work against the Steelers for sure,I can't speak for the Raiders.
I don't know how the Broncos defense does it,they're the number one defense in the NFL,but they don't look it to me. How they kept the Chargers to 3 points is a surprise to me. The reason I say that is because the Chargers seemed to be getting rushing first downs at will, long runs at that. Philip Rivers is still a good QB. The Broncos only got one offensive touchdown all day,the other TD was off of a defensive interception. After that they scored a field goal. How they held the Chargers to 3 points..........because the Broncos offense was not impressive today.

December 6th, 2015.........the day Bill Belichick morphed into Rich Kotite. Far and away the worst coached game in BB's 15 year tenure as the Pats HC.

The Ebner drop kick kickoff was one of the dumbest coaching moves he's ever made. Why get cute when you just went up 14-0?

I didn't understand the 2nd onsides kick either. The decision not to challenge the PI when Collins clearly tipped the ball was also a head scratcher.

As bad as Belichick was Brandon Lafell was seriously disappointing in that game he quit on routes, dropped passes the one in the final drive he would of had 15-20 yards after the catch, was a killer.

BTW, its not why they lost but I can't be the only one that noticed the Eagles tackles false started over and over again and nothing was ever called, weird.

The Patriots did a drop kick? Damn,I watched the wrong game. I should have watched the Eagles-Patriots game. Come on,it would have been genious if it worked.
Edit: Never mind.

I'm a big risk/reward guy, and that's what made the drop kick kickoff infuriating to me. The Pats just went up 14-0 and were in obvious control when Belichick called that. Where's the reward there? If you recover, you get the ball around midfield...big deal. And we all know what the risk is......a short field, and more importantly a shift in momentum. Love, love, love what Belichick has brought to this organization, but that call was BS. Belichick's huge ego may have cost the Pats a first round bye

Have no fear about losing the first round bye,I don't think that the Broncos are playing to achieve home field advantage, much less first round bye. If yesterday's game is any indication, they are just playing it safe offensively & holding down the fort until Manning gets back. If they play offensively like they did yesterday, the Steelers for sure will cream them. As much as I deride their defense,if it wasn't for their defense yesterday, the Chargers could have won, because the Chargers offense was looking good(just NOT scoring). The Broncos offense scored one passing TD & pretty much just coasted the rest of the game.
I can't even predict that the Broncos will beat the Raiders next week, their offense was that uninspiring yesterday.

I hope he gets fined by Goodell

Using the goalpost as a prop indeed,he could have damaged the goalpost causing a delay in the game. The next thing you know, players will be leaping into the stands with spectators after scoring a touchdown.;)

And the guy leaping into the stands could damage the stands causing a delay.

What was worse was the poor girl on the other side probably was scare sh**less when that happened, he somewhat grabbed her hair.
