True, but it was sold as being able to do 16APSK, and therefore I thought it did until I very recently found out otherwise.
Well if that is true (and I'm not saying it isn't) then why does the description for the first one include this?

And then it gives the link to the other one. So the seller seems to think there are two different versions, although then again, he mentions a "lan port" and from the photos I've seen, no version of that receiver has that, assuming we are talking about an ethernet jack. Maybe the seller is confused; I don't know, but I just thought it worth pointing out that if having the wifi is important, make sure it's mentioned in the specs of the one you buy because there just might be a version that doesn't have it (or not).
The specs are identical and both list Wi-Fi. LAN is a different animal from Wi-Fi. LAN is wired, Wi-Fi is wireless. Neither unit has a Cat5 port.
So, either that seller doesn't know his own product or he's intentionally trying to confuse people, and if the latter, it worked with me.
Or it was a copy & paste from another item and he forgot to edit it.
I checked out the links above and both appear to be the same receiver but one includes a USB Wifi adapter as shown in the picture. Have a look at the Freesat website for a list of their models
ancient TBS has a more reasonably priced dual tuner card here http://www.buydvb.net/tbs6902-dvbs2-dual-tuner-pcie-card-p-135.html?cPath=2 that says it will do up to 32APSK. Might be worth checking into.
Got mine this afternoon,just a cursory playing with it so far.Two sats scanned in,101&105,easy enough.Missed MeTV SD on blind scan but HD was there,noted an audio sync problem there.H&I,Decades and Movies scanned in and playing.
On 105 NBCs/Cozi etc are in,DMX on the radio side playing fine.
Tried deleting some channels but wouldn't do it,at this point probably user error

Checked the WIFI and it said No Such something or other,I don't remember exactly.
Clock seems to be 24 hour only,but again may just be me not doing something right yet.
Need to get a composite breakout cable,think I have one around somewhere,whether it works or not to be determined.
But so far HD looks great and SD looked pretty good on the Bravia.

No complaints about the picture quality on this box from me either. The SD rocks.

I appreciate the suggestion but at this point I really don't trust the claimed specifications from TBS anymore, after all they said my card would do 16APSK back when they were selling it. Now if someone is currently using a reasonably priced (in other words, not "professional" grade) TBS card and is actually receiving that 16APSK mux, I'd like to know what model card you have. But, I won't make the mistake of relying on TBS' claimed specs again.
TBS is a very customer oriented company and have been very responsive to my support needs on several occasions. Why don't you contact them and indicate that you purchased the card based on the specifications and ask if they would swap for a comparable card with 16APSK support. All they can say is no...
Thanks for the suggestion. Did that and unfortunately the response I got was not completely helpful, but only because my TVHeadEnd backend system is running Ubuntu Server, not a version of Ubuntu with a desktop and definitely not Windows (I don't think there even is a Windows version of TVHeadEnd). And also, I don't really understand what they are asking. They said, "We need to make sure what kind of signa with 3980H first, is it ACM or VCM ?" And I don't know what signa is or what ACM and VCM are. But then they asked me to use crazyscan with my existing tuner card analyze the frequency, and they gave me THREE links as follows, but none of them are to a Linux version of the software as far as I can tell:

It sounded like they might be willing to do something for me, but only after receiving this information. I don't know if they are trying to discover something specific about my card, or if they are trying to figure out if a different card would be able to receive this signal. The obvious problem is I have no way to run the software they want me to run, first because there is no Windows on that system, and second because there is no graphical environment. So even if there were a similar program for Ubuntu desktop versions, I probably couldn't run it. And then there is the obvious question, if my 6985 won't receive 16APSK in the first place, how would I get any information in crazyscan even if I were running Windows?
If anyone reading this has a TBS card is running crazyscan and could run it on the 3980H mux on G19 and post a screenshot of the output, I'd very much appreciate that, because if they are just looking for information about the signal then that should give them what they need. But if they are wanting information about my specific card, unfortunately I just can't provide that using the software they want me to run.

I'm getting aggravated that I'm not getting Decades, Heroes, & Movies! anymore on SES 1; because of that, I'm thinking about ordering this receiver. From what I've heard, it performs great on these 3 channels without any problems; by the way, I could care less about its "supposed" ability to unencrypt BISS, PowerVu, or any encryption software with keys; I'm not up for anything like that! I could also care less about the other useless extras such as YouTube and especially YouPorn! Anyway, I was wondering if this STB decodes 32APSK modulation?
