I'm currently a Dish subscriber and I started a free trial of both PS Vue and SlingTV. The first thing I noticed with Vue is that the programming being streamed does not match what is being shown on Sling and Dish. Vue is 3 hours behind the others. I'm wondering if that's because I'm in the Mountain timezone? Do others see the same thing or does the programming schedule match Sling/Dish/Direct? Is there some way to "move" so that I can get the schedule I'm used to?

What device are you using to stream with? If it's the fire TV make sure the time zone is set correctly in the device settings.

I had the same thing happen and it fixed it.

If that is not it, delete the app and reinstall.

I'm using a Roku 4. I changed the timezone to Eastern in the Roku's settings, and then logged out of Vue. I then came back into the channel and had to authorize the device again. Even after a reauthorize it didn't change the schedule.

I'll try removing the channel from the Roku and then add it again. I also have a PS3 I can try if you think that might work.

I'm in the Pacific Time Zone, and I've noticed on Vue that channels are hit and miss as to whether I get programming on the EST schedule or PST schedule. It doesn't make much difference to me since I record everything I watch. Though sometimes when I have nothing else recorded, it's nice to be able to watch a show like The Walking Dead early on a Sunday evening.

Never had that issue yet. I'm central tz using Firetv. If you stick with it do yourself a favor and get Firetv Box not the stick. The guide works well and makes navigation much easier.

Is that true of the 1st generation FireTV box or ohnly the 2nd gen?
Both. Although I will say the 2nd gen fire tv stick is about as fast as the first gen box.

The first gen stick is just sloooooowwww when it comes to vue navigation.

Thanks.

I'd still stay with the box instead of the 2nd gen stick. I much prefer a wired network connection vs. wireless.

I do as well.

Only reason I know about the second gen fire stick is it was a spare room/backup device.

It's certainly an improvement. Plus it comes with the Alexa remote, if that makes a difference.

I tried this suggestion (deleting the app) this morning. No go, programming is still delayed by 3 hrs. I have the Roku's timezone set to Eastern.

I guess the next try is the FireTV box.

I'd like to know from others:

1. Do you see a 3 hour delay in programming versus what's on Dish/Direct/Sling.
2. What timezone are you in?
