Received software version U506 on my 2 Hopper3 receivers

Not sure if I have U506 yet, (Is there a way to check remotely via Dish Anywhere?) but I had trouble watching in-progress recordings last night. It took a couple of tries to get it to start from the beginning.

Yep U506.

In the past, Dish Anywhere could take a while (days or longer) to refresh the s/w version but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Our receiver was updated to U506 (yesterday ?) and DA shows that same version.

It wasn't that long ago I set a time for the basketball game recently. Is it coming back. Why can we not have a 4K 24/7 channel like we used to get when we got HDTV in the beginning?

From what I hear, neither. It hasn't been released yet but I've heard that it is a wired Joey that is more advanced than the Joeys 1 and 2.

Not sure on DA, but if you hit the Home button 3 times on a 52/54 remote or twice on a 40 remote to get to the Diagnostics screen, you can see the software version and when it downloaded.

I don't know if it's the latest or not but mine shows 483 on 11/17/17 and I downloaded 506 on the Hopper a couple of days ago.

Thanks. That is what I am showing too. I forced the U506 to both my H3s. My two WJs updated to U284 but my two 4KJs or still on U483.
