Brady wasn't on the field when the Pats won. No "stars" involved. Steelers were trying to catch them off guard. It might have worked with a different team. Didn't Tomlin watch the Super Bowl two years ago?

Actually it would have worked had the TEAM known that they were running a play.
Only person that knew way Eli Rogers when Ben glanced at him.
Ben was Clocking the ball when he was told by Haley to run a play instead ... instead of kicking a FG to tie it up.

Ya know guys, after the cheap shot that Gronk had a few weeks ago, he shouldn't have even been playing ... 1 game suspension ... PLEEEEASE.
They just gave out 2 game suspension for lesser hits ...

No one can say without kidding themselves that the NFL and the PATs don't have some agreement to keep them at the top ...

When the Steelers were looking to knock off the Pats in Previous years, the NFL had to suspend Steelers Harrison for what looks like nothing now. Goodell use to make up reasons to suspend them, so the Pats could stay ahead.
As long as Goodell stays in there, the Pats have thier golden path made for them.

Gronk gets suspended for 1 game, WHY ?
Because they needed him to play against the Steelers a week later.

Gronk is not the Golden boy many make out to be.

Labor union only bargains the punishment down, the league is the one that gives the punishment originally ...
if the NFL had any balls it would have been a 4 game suspension to start with ... did you notice it only too a few minutes for them to pass his appeal ... they wanted to make sure that he was able to play a game later.

Both of these articles show that Goodell has power in disciplining players, off field as well.
I don't see a date on either of these for some reason, but it shows that he does have a voice.

Goodell is such a sleezeball that it took him a FREAKING YEAR to decide or should I say find something against Elliott and then he comes out and its proved that he DISALLOWED his own investigator that proved Elliott was not who Goddell claimed.

If it takes you a YEAR to find anything on someone theres clearly an agenda.

No, it should have been much more, but you won't get away with much with the established fine schedule. It was already exceptional punishment given a lack of history.

That was a diversion from more serious problems such as spousal abuse..the thugs got knocked off the front page..now the league is making things up to new england

I see the Santa Gift refs deliver for the Pats for the 2nd week in a row ...

Getting to a point of why bother watching the NFL when they give calls to one team over all others thru out the season. UGH.

Two games in a row officials over turn opponents TDs in crucial situations when there was no obvious infraction.

Both were called TDs ON THE FIELD, and reversed.

Maybe its time we start scrutinizing all of the NE catches NFL .....

One foot was in and the other dragged the carpet (black junk came up) ... he didn't bobble it.
I guess if you move the ball from one hand to the other it means you don't have control appearntly.

I certainly hope that the officials look as closely at Pats TDs as they do with thier opponents.
I hope they scrutinize every one like they do their opponents.

Next time Gronk scores ... we better make sure he did not move the ball at all, all the way to the locker room.
It will be nice to see all the teams play on a level playing field.

Fwiw, I have no problems with the Pats, they play good ball, but they are not as good if those calls get evened out.
