Just developing. The Indians apparently notified MLB they thought the Astros were cheating and finally figured out how, with someone planted as a media reporter.

It appears MLB notified the Red Sox of what to look for, and they found it. (The person) No other details but MLB has a full investigation at this time... (There's a little more info since this link but no link to the additional info yet)

Ok. It is not clear what constitute cheating in this situation.

When did Belichick start coaching the Astros?

In the third inning of the first game of the series, security removed a man claiming to be an Astros employee from the media-credentialed area next to the Boston Red Sox dugout, according to multiple security sources who were on the scene at the time of the incident. The man had a small camera and was texting frequently, but did not have a media credential.

No question stealing signs - if that is what the Astros were doing is a grey area. Black and White you can steal signs, but the grey area is using any mechanical device, verbally transmitting or video transmitting is generally cheating. But unlike Football Baseball has (Correctly) never overblown this. This was a little different however because it appears he was taking pictures inside the dugout that may go beyond stealing signs.

The problem with baseball signs is that there is not as 100% that the signs will not change. It is obvious that the guy should not be there.

What, you can't see from one dugout to the other ?
I thought they were stealing signs from the catcher, but that type of thing has been going on for years ...
One of those Unwritten rules.

Latest I heard today was that everything has been cleared.
