At least now we can put to bed who Mommie Dearest is rooting for.

Bengals Defense played well enough 20 points not good enough
Rams Defensive line wore down Cincy's O Line in the 4th quarter, that proved to be the game changer.
Burrow had very little time in the 4th (2nd half really).

Matt Stafford drove the Rams late in the game a 15 play drive (something hes done a lot of before) for the winning TD.
Aaron Donald with a sack on Burrow on the last play (on Cincy's last effort, trailing by 3).
Donald was double teamed all night long ....

Copper Kupp was Phenomenal down the stretch, Stafford went to him on the game winning drive almost every play.

Great game from both sides.

Agreed, this was one of the better Super Bowls. It did seem odd that the Refs seem to have discovered the penalty markers in their pants after the 2:00 Warning at the end. Then, they seemed to be making up for missed opportunities. But they were all pretty much good calls, just odd that some similar infractions earlier were overlooked.

I agree ...

Bengals had a solid game. They just didn’t get things done after the TD. With that said the bengals are young and they won’t have to give Burrow a max contract yet. So they still have time to build around burrow. I mean this team was garbage last year so this was a huge turnaround.

I enjoyed it...a little on the boring side for both teams....But those announcers absolutely sucked! Cant they just call the game without pom poms and wearing skirts the whole time?

I agree. I think the game was overrated. Was it a close game? Yes, of course, but that doesn’t necessarily translate into a quality game. I keep hearing “top 5 Super Bowl”, and I’m like, what game did they watch?? I get recency bias and I get everyone nowadays wants a “hot take”, but can we slow our roll with these superlatives??

So does Beckham Jr actually get a Super Bowl ring or just a pair of Super Bowl cuff links due to him barely playing for the Rams this year after he walked away from The Browns?

7, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3.

The margin of victory in the last several playoff games this year. Pretty amazing.

Largely rooting for the AFC, but seeing the Bengals not able to overcome a bad call (after benefiting from one) felt like karma as a Chiefs fan given how their first game ended. Their weakest point all season - their offensive line - failed them one too many times in the end. Their offseason will be almost exclusively focused on offensive and defensive linemen.

This is the fourth or fifth time in the last 2 weeks I’ve seen it referenced that the city of Los Angeles has never won a Super Bowl. Did the Los Angeles Raiders and Super Bowl XVIII never exist??

Possible they mean for the LA Rams turn St. Louis Rams turn back to LA Rams.

Not not how I interpreted it. It should have said “First one for the Rams while playing in Los Angeles”, not first one for the city of Los Angeles. Besides, I’ve seen this several times over the last 2 weeks. The most egregious one was “the cities of both Cincinnati and Los Angeles are seeking their first Super Bowl championship”.
