Good point !

That said, I doubt that you'll see many of the Top TV on Black Friday deals, at least better than a normal sale.
Most of the time, BF deals are on TV's that lack something here or there.
Agreed, but prices are dropping, I was thinking about the Sony 85” X95K before I decided on the Z9K, it came out at $5500, now 2 months later, down to $4500.00.

I agree, it Could be a permeant drop, but I would not count on it ....
My A8 took a Year before it dropped from $3900 to $3000.

FWIW, I was informed from my Local High End Shop that I bought my A95 from that I will be getting a $500 reimbursment check ....

Apperantly Sony will be discounting the A95 by $500 very soon ...

Jamieson's doesn't owe me the $500 as its not really on sale yet, but they are willing to compensate me anyways.

You wouldn't get that from a Best Buy if you bought a few weeks early .
Costco maybe, but they don't sell that particular TV.

So, anyone looking for an A95, keep your eyes open for a price drop ...
May be a Price drop or just a Sale, so it may not stay there.
The A95K is well worth it with the extra brightness that the A90J does not have, I liked the OLED Picture but hated the black crush during dark scenes.

If the A95 came in the 83” size, I might of looked at it more, spoiled by the larger size.

Maybe next year ?

Jamieson's has the Sony 100" one on display and it looks great as well, way too BIG for me, or in my home.
I don't remember which model or even technology That one is, really haven't looked into it.

It is a X90, called a X91 for the 100” size.

Would not want it even for the bigger size, picture is not up to par with the X95 and the Z9K.

Correct, its a few steps down from the Oled or QD Oled or the Z9

I can't see a whole lot of difference between the X90 and the X95 really.

Got the 77" A80J yesterday...WOW! Colors are so much more vibrant than the old LG. Not the brightestest set on the shelf, but fits my environment.
The lack of brightness is what made me decide to move my OLED to the game room and go back to mini-LEDs, the Florida sun made it impossible to watch it during the day.

I hated closing the shades during the day just to watch TV, felt like a recluse.

For those interested in big-screen OLEDs and 8K TVs, you should acquaint yourself with the proceedings going on in the EU recently. There's a good chance that some of the more power hungry models will either go away or come with some stupid defaults that bring their power consumption to relatively low levels. It may also impact some of the mini-LED models.

There may be a little chicken little going on in the above video but you don't want to be caught unaware if you're in the market for such a TV.

Note that both 4K and 8K are technically UHD. 4K is UHD-1 and 8K is UHD-2.
