NFL 2022

Seems like a not great call, but I can think of worse. Like not handing the ball off to Marshawn Lynch on second down at the goal line? Thanks Pete!

4th and 5 is not a gimme. But if you have three timeouts, there is logic to going for it on 4th down as the 64 yard field goal is a looooong kick. However, the field goal is providing you with a guaranteed shot at victory, where as 4th and 5 conversion attempt is likely only extending the drive. With 64 yards being a hard kick, I think the right shot is going for it, BUT I don't think kicking a field goal to win is as bad as it sounds.

To put the entire sequence in it’s proper context you have to consider how much time was left (50 seconds after the 3rd down play) and how many timeouts you have left, which was 3. Considering that, and you have a franchise QB on your side, IMO the decision was a no brainer. Obviously like you stated, there are no guarantees on 4th and 5, but my chances for victory are exponentially greater if I go that route. Now if there was time for only one final play, I would say attempt the 64 yard FG vs. a Hail Mary pass.

I had read 30 seconds. 50 seconds, yeah, that is TO territory and going for it.

Also, chances of winning were not "exponentially" greater. Statistically, 5 to 7 times better chance to get a first down than make that field goal, but then, they still need to score. Kicking the FG was the best option for guaranteeing a winning chance play. Otherwise, going for it on 4th and 5 with 2 timeouts left seems like the way to go.

The worst play? Punting. :D

You’re right, I need to walk back the “exponentially” part, but I still contend that going for it was the right move. And LMAO @ punting.

Had he Made it, we all would be saying, they won with a 64 yard FG .... not, why didn't they let Wilson run a play.

If you look at the clock when Sutton went down on the last play,, there was 1:00 remaining, so IF they had wanted to, thye Could have called TO with 1:00 or maybe :59 seconds to go .... then they ran the pass (that brought it down to 1:00 left) and basically Killed the clock of the next :40 seconds ... Seattle says Thank You.

Great game tonight to get the Amazon Prime schedule started. As much as the Chargers have improved defensively with the additions of Mack and Jackson, I can’t go against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs at Arrowhead. Mahomes and Herbert in a shootout tonight, but the Chiefs come out on top, 38-31.

Tried to watch LIVE on Prime.
Totally pixelating.
My brother 200 miles away, same.
Unwatchable.
Prime not schedule enough servers/bandwidth

Thankfully,
Can watch replay on Dish-Nfl network at 9pm.

Total fail by Prime.
Why I have not yet 'cut cord' on satelite

If your watching on Prime ..... what does that have to do with Satellite ?
This game is Not on Sat.
Go ahead and cut your Internet Cord .....
Then you will no longer have any pixelating ...

I love everything about Prime’s game presentation, and I already like Kirk Herbstreit better than any other NFL game analyst. Compare Prime’s NFL coverage to Apple’s foray into streaming MLB coverage, and it’s like night and day.

I thought the game on Prime was done very well top to bottom. The PQ was fantastic, Herbstreit and Michaels were great, the multiple feeds were interesting.

All in all, that was a win for them.

If that was true why would people with poor isp's buy Prime ?
The ISP might have had a problem with the throughput for the game.

There are people in this thread that said their stream was perfectly fine. Which then leads one to believe it was the routing system of the ISP or the trunks that were the problem. I doubt it was the trunks.

I remember back in the day when FoxSoccerGo had the infamous Liverpool v Manchester United game failure... and the stream froze at the same spot for everyone with 20 minutes or so left in the game. And that was that. Everyone had the problem, it wasn't just some people.

If Amazon had a failure, unless it was a very specific server somewhere, it should have been more universal for those streaming. Not customer to customer.

Sounds like it wasn't Amazon, but the Internet provider.
Or could just be the equipment in the home, older routers for example.

My house is 4500sq feet and while I had the newest best Netgear Nighthawk, still too many dead spots.

So I bought 7 access points to have in the house and 1 outside, bought Cat 7 wire ( future proof for now) and had it wall fished though out the house.

Now wi-fi is at least 600 down no matter where I am, I do run wires from the access points to whatever equipment they are right by, Sony TV speed Test shows over 900 down wired.

This is what I have, only $89 at Amazon-
