Buy a Roku device, all apps in one place and it has a search function.
So if I want to watch something, I have to first go to the internet and find out what Streaming service might have it, instead of just changing the channel with a guide.

I may watch Big Bang and then Seinfeld then Mash then the Addams Family in one 4 hour evening on Sat. and check in on the ball game ....

That would take longer to find what App I need than the show itself, then you get to the app and you have to figure out, do I even have a sub to that particular network/App ....

Big unnecessary hassle ...

Roku don
Roku is nice but they don't last as long as a firetv...just the way it is..other people will chime in with the technical differences
Keep digging. Roku Ultra offers Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos on any apps that support it. That includes, Prime, Disney+, Paramount+, Apple TV+ and Peacock. Those are the ones I use. (Edit: Add HBO Max to that list)

I tried a FireTV Cube because a while back, the Paramount+ app on Roku was a disaster and it was complete garbage...remote wouldn't pair, it constantly froze up, etc. Sent it back for a refund. Paramount+ has since updated their Roku app.

Roku only last 2 or 3 years...until they get a software upgrade they can't handle or a power supply fails..or aps are no longer supported..or they just stop supporting a certain model..i have the original firetv and it keeps chugging along..while have 4 or 5 rokus during same time period

And SBJ wraps up Amazon's little venture on TNF.

Ratings are down 41% from the previous year when it was on real TV. All other packages were flat or slightly up.

FORTY ONE PERCENT. Wow.

This, of course, comes down to two types of consumers who watched TNF on real TV, but now do not.

Those who will not pay $140/year for the supposedly "near universal" Prime with all its supposed benefits, TV and otherwise.

Those who simply lack the internet service to support this ONE game.

Yet there are tens of millions of folks out there who want to pay $1000 for ST and have the internet to support 14 games at once.

Who is streaming all 14 games at the same time... especially when some aren't even broadcasted at the same time?! Did this deal include Quantum broadcasting? Also, I've got to presume that the number of subs at $500 a year, verses $1000 a year will be much more than double.

2 billion/ 2 million subs is $1000

I did very simple math based on historic subscription levels..I am sure there are millions of underserved millennials who are just anxiously waiting to buy sunday ticket alacart
My son is going to be 33 this year, he is going to get it, he also owns a house, has a job and is well off financially.

What he does not have is a Live TV service.

Any other stereotypes you have about his age group.

Millennials stream more than most others plus they are less likely to subscribe to a traditional tv provider..not sure what your issue is with simple facts..thats why the NFL is switching to streaming..to get a younger demographic
