my setup right now is a 39" fortec dish, qph-031 lnb, hh120 motor, and a coolsat 6000 receiver. over the winter i got a multi lnb bracket and a universal lnb. so the weather today got up to a whopping 34 and i went out to play in the yard with the satellite. hooked the bracket to the arm, installed both lnbs, came back in the house, turned on the receiver, picked a sat to scan with the universal, and NOTHING! i had blew the diseqc switch! i picked sat 58w to scan with the universal and my level dropped from 97 green to 45 red, and no q reading at all! in the setup on the coolsat, i use "single" for the qph-031 and the 22khz switch off. when i use the universal setup, the 22khz is on auto and can't be turned off or changed. by the time i got done, i went though 2 diseqc switches! (glad i had extra's) what kind of switch or setup do i need to use both lnbs?

Connect QPH - L to DiSEqC #1 QPH - C to DiSEqC #2 and Universal to DiSEqC to DiSEqC #3.

Set the receiver to Universal / LO 9750 /10600 for any satellite using DiSEqC #3.

Did you compensate for the new LNBF being mounted 5 or 6 degrees off to the left or right? The Multi-LNBF mounts place the second LNBF off to the side, so you will have to determine how many degrees the LNBF is offset and add or subtract depending on which side of the main LNBF the 2nd LNBF was mounted.

To prevent blowing a DiSEqC switch, always turn off the master power switch or unplug the satellite receiver before connecting the switch.

diseqc lite (switches)

To prevent blowing a DiSEqC switch, always turn off the master power switch or unplug the satellite receiver before connecting the switch.
Any chance someone will come out with a more robust diseqc switch for a modest price.?.
I'm tired of hearing these horror stories.
The DP34 is diseqc and would have survived (though it's not suitable for this task).
