Not last night but I lost a NJ Devil game last week. I think it was just a fluke. I had not been blacked out of a game that I should have gotten for years.

BSColvin in Pittsburgh, reported earlier in the thread, about being blacked out when looking at the guide in the afternoon
As of 20 minutes before the VS game today, there is still no program listed for NHLHD in the guide. I think we may have been premature in thanking Charlie for giving us the HD version of the games on VS...
Just when you think he's on track to do the right thing, he does a 180 and breaks your heart...
We'll see -- 12 minutes to game time!

Update 10:09 a.m. PDT 7/13/07 -- if this really was VS' fault, I apologize to Charlie. I owe you one...on second thought, I'll just subtract this from the ones you owe me....

My EPG is literally changing on the fly. A little while ago I only had one game listed for tonight on 151 - now I have a second game, Islanders at Sabres, listed at 6:30.
I have access to the full time VS/Golf Channel HD on cable. NHL is not in the guide tonight, they have golf listed (and showing, in SD too!) So not sure you can blame this one on dish. Versus screwed up big time.

Playoff time is their chance to reach many more viewers! Remember when they got the NHL contract? They expressed commitment to the NHL and indicated they were going to use HD to boost ratings.
I bet the Canadian feed is in HD...
I saw, the other day, that VS could not get a HD truck in Detroit for tonight. The game is on SD, the NHL.COM site states it is in HD on VS. There are many HD trucks, now, but not enough as yet. It can also come down to how much VS wants to spend, as a HD truck is much more expensive than an older truck.
I just got off the phone with a Versus Tech, He just told me that Dish Network and Direct TV do not get the HD games, it is not Versus's fault it was the two Sateilite Companies that chose NOT to carry the Thursday and Friday games in HD.
sorry......... don't buy that. Show me anywhere where Versus has the game in HD. I believe that if they were sending out an hd signal that d and e would carry it. It worked last night just fine

I know it is posted in a guide..... that is not what I was asking for. It is not on d* or E* and does not appear to be on any cable providers either. That leads me to believe that the problem is with the versus feed and what they fed you was a load of cr**!!!!
Sounds similar to what they just told me. I call BS.
I didn't have any problem getting the Pens/Sens HD feed last night.
Well, I did have one problem, but only when "Skates" was posting here and Ottawa was scoring.
