It may be my "move" location. Since I've seen both market channels I assume we all have the right spot beams and the correct signal levels. Not sure if t17 does anything.

I should point out that my Lacuna Mark 3 meter said that I had a great signal and that was before I hooked it to the receiver.
When I hooked it up to the receiver it was lower than what the meter said, I wasn't sure if it was an issue with the meter or the receiver.
I am happy to report that the Lacuna Meter worked just fine.

Yes. The new White GUI with problably some tweeks based on CE feedback will be the standard going forward. Cant say if it makes it to every single D* box but it should be safe to say it IS coming to the H20.
I no longer have a H20 (I returned it when I got my HR20) but I'm glad to see they have fixed the signal strength display (including getting 99 to show up).
How does one fix the signal strength on an H-20? where and how would someone get an update like that?
Keep an eye out here or in the Cutting Edge section at www.dbstalk.com for notifications of a new H20 Cutting Edge release. Lately, when they do one, it's on Friday or Saturday when announced between 11PM EDT and 2AM EDT, you need to do a force download to get the new code. For the H20 they don't happen that often, maybe every month or so and you just missed the last one.
Nope, it's either wait for the new software to go out for national release, where your box will automatically get it, or catch a CE when it becomes available.
Hemi needs to read the rules for CE releases over at DBSTalk, one of them is DO NOT call D* about any problems with them since nobody that answers the phones knows anything about them. Also, IIRC, it's been said in the past that D* doesn't do download requests for customers for new software to be installed any earlier then what their systems say to do.
I tried to log into DBStalk to see but for some reason It dosen't take me where I need to go !I log in ,but it never really logs me in . There are no error messages either.
Bylog in,, do you mean you are registered and cannot get in ?
You currently need to be registered in order to get to the C.E. section.
What are you trying to figure out, alot of us here would probably be able to help you ...

It says I'm registered and they even sent me a new password. And I logged in with that and same thing.So then I tried to re register and now it says I tried to log in using 2 accounts from the same computer .I never tried to register before last week. But it claims I already have an account.
I tried it again ,This time it worked.Not sure what the problem was but,Sorry to get everyone off the real topic of this thread.

Have you considered getting Verizon FIOS and ATT U-verse so you could compare those also. Are they available in your area? I think it would be very informative sitting and looking at all four broadcasting the same program and get a comparison.
