Thanks for the info, folks. I guess there is no need to spend the extra dough for HD on my new tv if I do not want to spring for another HD box and monthly fee.

My 722 currently provides programming to two televisions... one tv is a HDTV (this is the tv that is connected directly to the 722, i.e. TV1) and the other tv (TV2) is SD. My question is... if I replace my SD tv with a HDTV and set the new tv up as TV2 on the 722.... will I be able to view HD...

MyDogHasFleas, I've got an el cheapo right now... it works fine at night, but during the day, 3 of the 4 channels shown above are choppy and experience what I can only describe as lag.

Channel numbers are as follows: Fox: 50.1 CBS: 6.1 PBS: 5 NBC: 40.1 ABC: 27.1 All of these are digital channels. Based on this... please confirm that any of the above-referenced antennae would work. Thanks again. I'm continually amazed at the well-informed/helpful members of this site.

That stinks. The Dish site doesn't make that very clear and neither did the CSR. To clarify: if I sign up with NESN, the Sox will be blacked out? Does anyone know if Directv has NESN as a regional network?
