Will it work with a system that is all encoded QAM?

After almost 16 years with DISH service I am sad to say I have to leave because we are moving. Our new home will be a high rise bldg in the city and there is no way for us to see the satellites. Really going to miss my Hoppers and all the tuners. The best my cable company offers is a 2 tuner...

One of my Hoppers says I have 246 with todays date, the other Hopper says I have 246 with a date of 4/3/13. Very odd.

What signal strength are you getting on the new satellite for Charlotte?

Any one else in the Charlotte DMA that can post their levels so I can see if mine are off base?

After waiting several minutes it reads 50. On the old bird it was 80. I think my dish is not aligned for this new bird. Bad part is the Dish tech just aligned it last month when they replaced my LNB.

I dont think the move for today happened. According to my Hopper I am still on the same TP/Spot that I have always been on in the Charlotte market.

Never had it with 230. I have tried reboots but it won't stop.

Is anyone else getting picture and sound breakup when on an OTA channel and you press info ? I am getting this since S234.

Signal is 100 and stable on all channels. Never saw thus issue until I got S234.

I am now having a problem with 234. When watching OTA everything is fine until I press the INFO button. Then the picture starts to break up and the sound stutters. I tried a reboot but that made no difference.
