Is Audio out of sync issues normal for HD broadcasts?

I notice a slight audio sync issue with my HD channels, is this to be expected? I also confirmed that my Sling TV via Roku player does the same thing when watching HD videos. What can be done to minimize this?

An extremely low - virtually unnoticeable delay I believe does exist often. If things are working correctly you do not notice. But sometimes it isn't working right. TV's generally have a delay or sync setting for that to match it better. And sometimes changing channels back and forth fixes it. Using the PCM setting can sometimes fix it but that defeats digital sound settings.
I don't use Sling, I have not seen posts about sound sync issues while streaming. If you are streaming to a TV and have the issue I would check the TV sound settings.

Ok thanks for the reply... I will check the tv settings to look for audio sync setting. By the way are there any settings on the 722k where I can adjust the audio sync? It most probably is my TV since it also does it with Sling HD video played via Roku player.

If you have a game mode on your TV try that. It reduces any delay's induced by the TV for gaming and that's what I use to improve sync. It does make a difference for me.

If you tell us what model TV you have, we can try to help you find the solution.
