IT's possible, but keep in mind that with 1.2m dish, beamwidht on Ku is very narrow and it is alot harder to fine tune it than smaller dish. This makes it even more difficult to fine tune an lnb that is not mounted in the center where lnb should go.

I'll echo what pmb1010 said. I am getting those two channels with 75% quality (the quality is jumping between 72-81%) on my Fortect Ultra.

INfo on cone scalar is dug in somewhere in the middle of 120cm mini bud thread. I had to order a whole lnbf (from eye in the sky) and cone scalar came with it.

I have the 65mm holder which fits the lnbf perfect. I lost the top part of the holder so I am using plastic ties :) I actually almost prefer it like that since it makes it easier to remove and adjust.

The scalar ring I have is not the one that came with the CKU lnbf. This is a cone shaped ring which is supposed to be better suited for offset dishes. I think you will need a scalar ring of some sort to get it work because without it it will not illuminate enough. It is performing good on...

I spoke too soon :) I am getting The Tube on AMC3. Quality is jumping between 38-42% and the picture is breaking up. I had to move my dish a little further east (86.6 instead of 87) to get the most out of signal. TVU on AMC3 is coming in strong with 55-60% quality.

But that's with a 6' prime focus. I don't think I ever got The Tube in on my 1.2 offset dish. I think there is a fox mux at G11 that is spilling over even though that's 4 degrees away.

I can do it. Any particular sattelites you are interested in? I can scan it and tell you transponders it finds and signal qualities (on my Fortec Ultra). So far I'd say it is comparable to ASC421's performance on c-band.

spindoctor. What was your signal quality on ERT transponder on NSS806 before? I never had dialectric plate so this is the first time I am getting it on my 1.2 offset dish. I am getting 40-45% quality (on a Fortec receiver) and there is no problems with the picture.

I'm having hard time finding the correct distance on my 1.2 dish. It seems that I get the best signal when LNBF is pushed back all the way with it's front edge barely aligned with the front of the lnbf holder (almost leaving no room to attach the scalar ring). I will play with c-band later...
