If I get the HD only package but my locals aren't in HD will I still receive my locals in SD like the way I do now? I called Dish and she kept saying that I don't have HD locals:rolleyes:

The Indiana Jones movies are on now but the HD is not in full screen it's looks more like Soprano's style. The picture looks good but had never noticed the two black bars in the horizontal position while in normal mode on any other channel. What kind of HD is this called letterbox or something?

Since customizing my own HD list or simply using the All HD list to view an HD channel to then switch to CNN the stretch for CNN is a lot wider while viewing when I'm in the ALL HD guide or my own HD guide. My point is in order to read the ticker better on CNN I have to go to All Channel then...

Got the HD hooked up a couple of months ago but have been experiencing Sat 129 problems ever since. It's raining here at the moment but 110 and 119 are fine and even on a nice sunny day at best with 129 the signal will be around 28-32. I've got a dish 1000 and some dude told me to get a 1000.2...

This is the million dollar question that's hard to find an answer too. You'd think or at least I thought before buying the HDTV and Dish 222 that the local channels would be in HD. I've searched here for weeks with no luck but for the people that live out in the sticks would need to get an OTA...
