Im a dish tech in MI depending on where at in MI. for metro det area when we build our 500 dishs we pre set them to 119 skew and 32 elevation that will get you close enough to fine tune after that. The 119 comes in at 233 Az and 29 elv 110 is 223 az and 32 elv.

Im not sure on what area you are in but i know in Detroit where im from the 129 comes in at a 23 degree elevation i would check and make sure you are not having a line of sight issue

I would defiantly try another output on the 44 is the system grounded? sometimes if the ground is grounded to something on or around say your electrical meter it will cause it to act funny like said by someone before i would try to change that dish for a new style 500+ if your not getting...

Nothing will show up on the third one unless you have a wing dish your probabaly hitting the 110 on the 119 side of the lnbf bring the dish up and to the left

No you can not use a usb splitter yet I.T says the software is there but not active yet

The .2s are a little more touchy than the .4 wa since the move back to the .2 iv still been using the .4 dish bigger dish better Sig all you have to do is cut the middle lip off the bracket and the .2 lnbf will fit on it

Sometimes not only a software issue but some tvs act funny w/ dish equipment and both need to be reset in a certain order it sounds funny but iv seen it

In all honesty if you have a meter that you can find 119,110 w/ there really is no reason to get another meter because if you can find those to w/ your meter the 129 will be there no matter what as long as there is no line of sight issue. but if you feel like you need another one try a sat buddy...

Yet again your talking about a whole house ground i am just talking about the ground for the satellite dish. I don't doubt your electrical "expertise" but how long have you been installing dishs

Not saying house should not be grounded im saying if house is wired wrong or has faulty ground will make satellite system act up i work in some "real nice" areas of detroit that alot of the houses had hack electricians come through and not do the greatest of jobs wiring the houses especially...

Just try moving the usb cord around or try to get a longer one those things are hit or miss on the recv in all honesty if its getting any signal it should still do want you want it to

If you hook the new 500+ to the .4 it will probably give you a messed up check switch read it might bounce around dif sats every time your run it njot 100% sure though if you try it let me know what you come up w/ some good info to store into the ol Rolodex haha

The old cable you had hooked to the dish was probably RG59 which is not suitable for satellite it may have been alright with the old system with the 500 dish but the new stuff requires RG6 for it to work correctly also make sure you have good fittings on all cable. If you have alot of breaks in...

If re running the cable is a big pain try taking out the splitters and just put barrels in there place w/ new connections every splitter thats in the line will kill that sig more than you would think just 1 in a system especially if its a long cable run would make the picture look like poop

There really is no way to connect 6 sats to one system the most you can have is 4 you can put up the .2 and have a 61.5 wing and run a line into the input on the .2 then it would pick up all 4 without the dpp44 making it a little easier install or you can make that wing dish 72,77 or which ever...

Try hooking up the tv w/ component cables or something like that and just see what that does if it does the same thing i would try putting the recv on another tv w/ the same kind of connection you were using on your new tv and if it still does it then its the recv if it does not then its the tv...
