Is the change over time 0001, of the 30th; or midnight of the 30th?

The 921 requires two cables to work. The only other option is a new switch. I think the DP44 (if that's the correct term) is now available. It allows the use of one cable. Someone here must be using it and can give you more accurate info.

That is totally what I expect; but what can I do about it? It appears BEV csrs are as knowledgable as Dish csrs. My bet is, that I will suffer a week or two service interuption, while waiting for the new card. :mad:

My broker now tells me, that BEV says we will not lose our HD programing, without the new smart cards. That they are REQUIRED only for NFL-ST. So I am in limbo, until the end of the month, at which time, I expect to be throughly pissed. I suppose I could be plesantly surprised and they...

I read some where, that the s/w download shuts off the caller ID. I just went into the Menu and sure enough it was shut off. Turned it back on and it now works fine. :)

What is 188 supposed to fix? I can't see anything different.

Which raises the question of, will there be any TP or Sat changes? When we southern subs lost programing, with the recent Sat change, none of the HD programing was affected. Same with NFL-ST. Could BEV be stupid enough to drive away more subs? :confused:

I'm in S. Cal. A little south of Nevada. Don't know if they have reception problems in NV.
