Hey all I have a old HDTV that just have component input. I understand Shaw no longer sell the 605ird that have component outputs as you all know the 600 just have hdmi outputs I don' want or need the dvr 630. Were can I find a online retailer that still have some 605's in stock. Thanks

Hummm, up until the last post I was thinking on replacing my aging 505's with two 605 Star Choice ird's :cool:

These additions will take us to over 150 HD channels. And the best just got better HD additions for Comcast of Philadelphia on or about December 15, 2010. Network-Channel Number-Package BBC America- 1225 (Digital Preferred) Crime & Investigation 1231 (Sports/Ent Pack) Nat Geo Wild...

I'm always confused about what "new" HD channesl that we will get or not.Usually when a bunch of new ones are added I check here with other hd absolute customers. :) PS I like my package and I'm going no where as long as the price stays the same.

My broker told me the same, could be a red flag I was told I could use a 3rd ird but better safe then sorry.:o

Have Absolute HD and no call as of yet. When they do I'll listen to their best discount offer then decide to stay until their discount offer expires or just wait til Absolute HD goes dark.

Happy owner of two 211-ViP R5000HD mods powered by Sagetv. It's going to be hard ($$$$$) to let dish go. Best dvr system around. I'll wait to see what discount they offer and then decide to hung around for one more year or not. Nice active thread :p

I am here till Absolute goes dark then I'm gone. I don't do premium channels so 3 months free HBO/SHO/STARZ etc etc etc means nothing to me. And I doubt they will give me discounts that would come close to 30 bucks a month for all the HD I'm getting now. Nothing great last 4-ever :o
