There is a new point dish screen rolling out with new software. Might have seen it on 322's already. It has a flashing yellow sign to let you know. It has basically made the signal reading the same on all receivers. You should expect a DROP IN THE READING NOT IN STRENGTH of about 30 points.

I'm done with Dish. I lose signal on the 129 once every 20 minutes. Every time I call they send a tech out to fix it and every tech says that there is nothing they can do! They say it's the sat. The CSR says it's the dish. Who's lying to me?

So DNS is standardizing everything when it comes to a installation. I say it's about time. This will fix so many problems that are posted on this site. This will weed out the bad techs that cut corners. It was getting way out of control.

I've had a few customers that have had a similar problem with the dvr on a 622. The problem is that they are geting the loss of signal message on recordings but never on live tv. Signal strength is outstanding and the timers were not set up for over the air.

DNS is using a LN lnbf for all 129 sat installs w/ a 24 inch dish. We are still waiting on word about the 30". It's seems to be another step in the right direction. We got about a 7-10% boost in signal with the new Lnb. They are the same lnb's used in Alaska. Belive it or not we still roll out...

Dish has returned a butt ton of defective dpp lnb's to the manufacturer. So many that we are not expecting any shipments for about two months. Guess we're gonna use up a lot of 44 switch's

anyone noticing a lot of dpp twins failing lately. Mine just did. I'm only getting 119 no 110 and no spotbeam.

PLEASE STOP CALLING DISH FOR 129 ISSUE'S AND GENERATING TROUBLE CALLS. IT IS REALLY HURTING DNS TECHS WHO DEPEND ON STACK RANKINGS. THERE IS NOTHING THAT DISH CAN DO FOR YOU RIGHT NOW. i KNOW IT SUCKS BUT YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR A WIDELY AVAILABLE SOLUTION. PLEASE NO MORE TROUBLE CALLS!
