The reason for using native pass through on Directv is that usually your display device does a better job of scaling the picture to your panel or projector's 1080P resolution. If the Hopper or the Directv DVR had better scaling electronics then native pass through wouldn't be necessary. Perhaps...

I live in a remote area that is covered by both Los Angeles and San Diego. How do I know which teams are covered by FSN in my area and which I am eligible for. Is there a place on Dish's website where I put my zip code to tell? Jack

I am supposed to have two of them installed tomorrow morning. The Dish computer voice confirmed at 5:00 PM that they were still coming. They were due last week but were postponed to tomorrow because of supply issue. I have my fingers crossed.
