I have a pase 2 dish with an added lnb c for HDTV sat 110. Would I be better off with a phase 3 dish. Is it a better product. Or does it make a difference?

Ok I ran the setup on the DVR HD 10-250. Yes I didn't need the combiner. I reset sat for a 3 lnb, it went through the setup and I got. In sat 1 and sat 2. 101 OK 119 not detected 110 ok Hmmm I see that it read the lnb c, but what is up with 119 degrees. Is the lnb bad?

Yes I recieved one with my lnb kit. Also 2 cables. I will have to study the combiner to figure out the hookup.

Ok looking at my dish I do have a spot for LNB C. I pulled of the protective plastic cover and saw 1 input. I assume that is for HDTV. So I am also assumeing perhaps my dish does have a built in switch. How does someone check for that. Is there something I need to do?

Thanks ok I see. Just having trouble getting anything on 119 degrees. If my 101 is pointed correctly shouldn't 119 also be there?

On my 3x4 switch there is a port for 18 v. But all my irds seems to be on 101 degrees. Does that matter. Or do I need to go buy a different switch.

Can someone please explain too me how a DirecTV Triple LNB with a built in multiswitch works. I only see 4 ports for the coaxal cable to connect. How do you split the signal?
