I will try and give this thing a positive spin.........wasn't there a couple of HD channels from D* that was supposed to be launched at 6:00am ....but didnt and then out of no where they popped on around 7:00pm that same evening!! Maybe this is what they have planned!!! Wasn't it DiscoveryHD...

DWDYEM2001 what is the model # of your HR20??? If it is the HR20 700.......then you can activate DOD tonite ONLY from 11:00pm to 2:30am.....you need to download the 019a software to activate DOD. I dont think you'll have to have a broadband connection in order to get DOD on your HR20...

Ok....I have Total Choice with NO locals...so I should be grandfathered in.....BUT I want be able to recieve all D* HD channels unless I choose a different package?? What channels will i not recieve.....?

I got the Fw upgrade also this morning.....If the servive not availible temporarily problem is fixed then i'm grateful to D*......My H10 would lock up and not let me change channels once this message came up and would sometimes do a reboot after the message!!!!I'm hoping that the FW did indeed...

Slideways......the 2 cables will work fine.......but you have the option to run 4..it isn't reqired or needed...So go ahead and get the HD set-up and enjoy it ..theres no promise of tomorrow! :D

Believe it or not..I've been watching alot of TNTHD..just finished watching The Fifth Element...this was the first time I have watched this movie and was VERY VERY PLEASED with the HD picture:D

Shouldn't the installer bring the 5-lnb dish since its now required?Or should i call D* and have them change the order ..or will D* automatically change my order since it has now become a required part of the HD setup/installation?.....BY the way I'm a life long Steelers fan myself...and think...

I have read a few threads in several forums thats saying D* has sent out a notice to all installers ..starting February 6th ....there to install the new 5-LnB dish if any HD mpeg4 receivers are installed..regardless of whether the customer has local HD availible in area or not..Is this a rumor...

I had the Astros'/Cardinal's game in HD last night......it was OTA on Fox43 out of Knoxville Tn......it was also on channel 248 on D*...... the WhiteSox/Angels game was on 246?(this channel came from out of nowere)..........I must of been one of the lucky ones that was able to watch the HD NL...
