The signal is a solid 98 and sometimes 99. No multipathing / big swings in signal. I don't need a new antenna. I'm 20mi. away, line of sight, on a big hill.

Wilt, any ideas? This last post from Couch makes it sound like it is Voom or the box as opposed to the station. Wilt, can you comment on this?

Maybe the time is drifting but the box occassionaly gets an update so the time drifts in and out of calibration...?

Does the STB get time corrections via the satellite or does it only set the time once when booting?

I don't remember seeing this behavior prior to updating the firmware. I have recently rebooted (a week ago) and the time is still wrong. I can try again tonight but that is a pain in the #$#% if I have to keep rebooting. Again I don't remember having this issue with the old code.

The time on my set top box is always slow and therefore the PG always tunes to the channel something like 3 minutes after the program has started. Anyone else have this problem or know how to correct it? :confused:

Sean, I'll check again, but I believe most PBS channels / all the time. 2.2, 44.2, 44.3, and 44.4 2.1 and 44.1 seem to be OK. I just went to www.pbs.org and checked what they list for pbshd and compared against what Voom lists online. PBS says 2pm is Evolution, Voom says Becoming...

Anyone else having problems where the content in the Voom PG does not match what is on the air on OTA PBS channels? My old Samy OTA rx had correct info but the Voom PG is always wrong here in MA.

So what's the pointing info for the new bird? Think it's going to be chainsaw time for me.

Anyone have a utility that gives Az/El data for the new bird?
