since i posted this i was reactivatin and rehittin the receiver because it was just stuck at '0'. . . then my trip startin movin from 0 and its now at 127, the guide is working but no channels but the DMX ones are workin, not even the ones i subbed too. my channel number has not yet moved.

im tryin with this convertion but im not gettin the EMM to move from '0', i sent a few rehits already. how long does it normally take?

boy what a read. . . i moved my dish over to the W5 sat and im gettin good signal and quality with DC light on, it been about a yr since the 4D was sub to anything. . . when i read the post i see some guys usin the W5 and most sayin to use the X4. what is the difference?

sounds like the post starter just needs a pansat 2700a/3500 or one of those older models which can control servo, usals and moves the dish via a dish mover. . .this is what im using.

My wife is kool with the whole setup once i do my part in or alround the home and she can watch TV when she's ready. . .thats why i got rid of my 4' CM and got 'HER' her very own 6' CM ;) happy wife = happy home. . . and i keep my 10' and 12' mesh BUDs to scan the skies.

i use to use a 4DTV receiver to move my dish and i had the same problem, even tried it with my 2 Von Weise Jacks. . . i changed to a VBox-X and reprogram the sat locations and it stops on point! 10' mesh with Von Weise 24" Jack. . . waitin to see how the VBox-X holds up to my 12' mesh and...

my clamp is also mounted less than 1/2" from the end. . .with my most west sat comin it with a few bumps out from the 4d. . .i really tired to maximize the jack.

i think it maybe better if you asked how much arc/sats do you get from a 24". . . in my case my dish 'normally' start at 135w and head east up to 37.5w without hittin any of my limits. . .von weise 24" i would love a 36" jack so i can really get my FULL arc of 1w-135w :D

the numbers on the LNBs looks like what im usin on my corotor wideband setup. . .both Norsat LNBs. . .if it is so then your setup should have a servo motor i believe and if it does then this is what i did with mine. . .i set the servo on my north/south line and skew my LNBs with the 4d.

you can turn off that feature of havin your dish move automatically at 2am, chk the settings, mine is off. as for the G1 sat, can some of these problems ppl are havin is because that sat has gone crazy now? i have not seen much on it for a bit, last i heard it was close to 131w

can anyone pickin up this sat get this TP 4112 L 1000 2/3? im getting TP 38 and 88 only with like 50% quality hxxp://www.lyngsat.com/intel1002.html i would like to know if the TP im looking for is really weak compared to the others. thanks
