    RIP. As a kid I watched many Basilio & Robinson fights. I recall a much published photo of Basilio with his face battered. Friday Night Fights drew many a viewer, then it was free over the air. By the way, Mr. Basilio, Semper Fi.

    Chi Sox should hire Wimpy in some aspect of broadcasting, either as 3rd man in the booth, alternating between TV and radio, or hosting pre or post game shows. Hawk, Stony & Wimpy. Sounds good eh? Sure would be interesting.

    Warren Spahn pitched for the National league Boston Braves from 1942-1952, Boston Braves, then moved to Milwaukee. He was signed as an amateur free agent by the Boston Bees in 1940. I believe the picture to be Spahn as well
