    MLB 2021 Season

Cannot believe the amount of missed calls. So many balls that were called strikes tonight. I'd much prefer computerized strike zone and the ump can just stand there and say what the computer tells them. It's awful that a batter has to expand his strike zone because the ump is out of whack...

FCC unanimously votes to eliminate NFL blackout rules

FCC statement says that only 2 games were blacked out last year. It also goes on to say the following: "Today’s action may not eliminate all sports blackouts, because the NFL may choose to continue its private blackout policy. However, the NFL will no longer be entitled to the protection of...

FCC unanimously votes to eliminate NFL blackout rules

Wish they would address MLB. Their blackout rules are much more invasive to many more people. Most likely, the NFL teams that aren't selling out these days aren't worth watching on TV anyway.

    2014 MLB Season

The Marlins have four teams ahead of them in the Wild Card and they are 12 games back of the Nats. They have played .500 ball in their last 10 games. Stanton's injury has little to do with their season being over.

Public Warning: No ass-slapping in court!

TMZ believes the judge over-reacted. I disagree. Just because it is common for an athlete to behave this way on the field is no excuse. Athletes are also allowed to spit and grab their crotch anytime they feel the desire. Those actions also wouldn't go over well in court.

    MLB 2013 Season

I don't get the gimmick for the DBacks. They have a street fair going on between games. Nothing better than to be forced to go outside, out of the A/C stadium and onto the streets when it's 100 degrees. And...who in their right mind would go to two games and a street fair the day before work...

Fox Sports 1 (FSN1) annouced today, Launches Aug 17th

Great! Another round of dilution that's going to cost subs a ton. Now FSN1 will over-bid for the NBA and pass the cost to the providers who will then jack up our rates ... again... When will it end?

What stadium no longer around would you have liked to have seen a MLB game in?

Very fun to "hate" Lasorda. Hopefully, most fans kept the spirit of hatred to a loving hate. Lasorda was as much a part of that rivalry as anything else. Tommy Lasodra’s misspelled jacket - Angels blog : The Orange County Register

What stadium no longer around would you have liked to have seen a MLB game in?

This reminded me of a double-header game I attended in 1988 at Candlestick vs. the Dodgers. I stayed 'til the bitter end and it was an amazing night. I found this story that tells it pretty well. The point I recall the most was the fact they threw up a chain link fence in the left field...

    Peyton Manning

Yes, life does move forward. Peyton should really consider walking away from the game. It seems he is one good hit away from paralysis. I remember seeing Joe and his Kansas City Chiefs take the 49ers down one Sunday afternoon. It seemed so odd. Of course, SF went on to win the SB against...

Legendary owner of the Raiders, Al Davis has passed away..

The team has looked "relevant" this year. The first few games have been very entertaining. It's good that Al was able to have some enjoyable games in, what turned out to be, his final weeks. His DNA will live on in football for a very long time. While it may be popular to dislike him, this...

I think the director at TNT should get some heat on this. the 1/2 bomb I speak of was the one when he was on camera but off mic and you could hear it as he yelled it to the crowd. He should have killed the mic downstairs and told the lady to find another guy to interview. Either way, that...

No comments on Nyer Morgans 2 1/2 "F" bombs? Maybe I can't get into his head after winning a championship, but jeez. He knew the name of the girl interviewing him, he saw a camera and a mic labled "TNT". Could he not have saved his foul mouth for the dugout with his buddies. What a...

Are you ready for some football? ESPN says...no

That really would be worst case. It was a great intro when the song came back for its second life back in the 90s. It was actually a popular song in 1984. I don't like seeing it taken down because ESPN wants to appear to be taking the high ground, but it really is time to let the song go into...
