Decided to check out channel 14 with all the speculation of ESPN2HD perhaps coming, since it was displayed in a CV ad in the newspaper. Well it turns out on the Great Neck System at least, that on 10/26 Channel 8 ShopNBC & Channel 15 QVC will only be available with a digital cable box. So that's 2 analog channels that are disappearing, freeing up some nice room for perhaps an HD channel. I checked my October bill and there was no mention of the upcoming change, so once again channel 14 seems to have some interesting info on it. Here's to hoping more HD is coming
