123w WGMU

Hi, Im trying to pick up the channel wgmu which is a mynetworktv affiliate licencesed in burlington vermont.

How come I get such poor signal on 123w for wgmu. Yet a channel like peace tv has a 90& quality signal. This means there cant be anything wrong with my dish if a channel like peace tv comes in so strongly. But Why doesnt wgmu come in like that. i dont even have a watchable signal.

Do you have any advice?

WGMU has been off the air as far as we know, permanently since last week..Because of finances..

The 11800 Equity transponder has been a bit weak in recent days, but it seems stronger in the last day or so. Possibly storms at the Little Rock, AR uplink facility...

Which is also true, but the main reason your not getting WGMU is because it isnt there..

There's 2-3 other MyNetwork channels on G18 so you're really not missing much with WGMU gone.

WGMU has been off the air as far as we know, permanently since last week..Because of finances..

Latest onscreen msg. via Time Warner cable in northern NY State:

"WGMU has notified us that it is suspending its broadcasting until further notice"
As far as I can see, there have been no mention of this in regional print, broadcast, or online news sources.

In the days following WGMU being off the air, I looked everywhere for any news about it, but found nothing..Asked the AVS forum HD Thread for Burlington, Vt. about it and never heard anything from them..its almost like the station never existed..

I dont think they even had a digital counterpart and was going to "flash cut" when the time arrived
(pretty much shut down analog & turn on digital on same channel)
