I know of one that might be available for the taking. I dont have anything available to get it, its at an old motel in Salem, IL. The motel has been closed for years and the dish looks in very good shape, no damage seen to it whatsoever. If anyone is interested, send me a PM and I can give you details on the realtor that has it for sale. Hate to see it scrapped out but maybe we can find it a good home

I also have a power coated 12ft Paraclipse CD with H2H.CR2+ Calamp C and Norsat .6ku. (motor replaced about 2 years ago) I am in Ft Lauderdale and moving. I need to remove it before I sell so I'd like to find it a good home if it is possible otherwise I will be scrapping it for the aluminum.

Hey guys! Come on! Two fantastic C-band dishes that will end up as soda cans if we do nothing!

My 2Cents worth.
I had a 12' Paraclipse that I bought in 1983.
I had to junk it in 2010 as the swivel housing that connects to the pole became
so loose that the signal failed. Could never figure out how to fix that.
Probably caused by the weight of the dish over the years.
Otherwise a fantastic dish for C-Band. Not good for KU.
Let the experts correct me if I am wrong in any statement.

When I first purchased and installed the 12cd (about 1995) KU was a major issue. The HH mount only tracked correctly if you moved to the locked position from the same direction. After about a year Paraclipse released an upgrade to the motor/drive system and after that it tracked perfectly and KU came in nice and sharp.

I have a 4DTV and a Fujitsu FSR-700 I'll end up trashing as well. The 4DTV has been unplugged for a year and still on its original batttery so not sure if it is still functional.

The dish withstood Wilma the Pole actually bent and it did a few 360's around the pole . I had an issue where some of the screws in the aluminum sleeve would not grip anymore but the solution for me was to drill through the Mounting pole

It is a shame, the dish still looks brand new. I may get another dish in the future but most likely it would be one of the Patriot Solid dishes.
