1392 Export from Explorer 8300HD box

Trying to get a movie off my Comcast HD box. I plugged in a firewire, my Windows XP registered the new hardware, but I do not have a driver. Do you know where I can fine one, and get my data off my HD Hard Drive?

I am totally with you. I asked my cable company if it could interface with an external HD, and they said, "sure"... Am trying to get to the bottom of this now. Any further luck in your search?

Firewire is called 1394 not 1392
