2 Newbie questions

1. I can't find the manual to my HR-21, but I've noticed that sometimes on the guide, the program description at the top of the guide page has a white rectangle with 'LB' at the end of the program description. For the life of me I cannot figure out what the LB indicates.

2. A buddy is in the process of scheduling and install (hooray for me- $50 referal discount will soon apply). He is getting an SD install, but anticipates getting an HD television within a year. Is it possible to request the Slimline 5LNB dish upon install to avoid needing a switch when he goes to HD in the future or will the installer only provide an SD dish?

1. LB = letterbox.
2. yes....but not sure.

1. Is Letter Box.

2. Anything is possible, they should all be going to the new set up (dish wise) anywas, but for SD service I would guess they will continue the single until they run out.
Try asking them for the 5 lnb set up see what they say ...
