2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs

The city count for championships in the four major sports is Chicago -25, Detroit - 22. But it's not really even because we don't have a NFL team in Detroit. :D

I would have said that the Cubs evened that up, but they do have the White Sox.

Pittsburgh has 13, Steelers 6, Pirates 5 and the Pens 2.

Early observations ....
Wings once again need something to happen to wake them up.
After the Hawks scored, the Wings decided to wake up and start playing ....
It happened in the Ducks series too.

For Hawks fans out there .... there is NO PANIC or desperation with the Wings if they give up a goal ...
That's called experience.
Never get too excited about giving up a goal, unless it's a game in OT ...

This is not directed at anyone, just a few words of wisdom.

INTERMISSION...INTERMISSION...DID YOU SEE THAT INTERMISSION? MY HEART CANNOT TAKE ALL THIS INTERMISSION!

Now that I've settle down...yep, the Wings came out flat - and they're still not playing all that well. Anyway, a pretty good "feeling out" period by both teams. It should be interesting to see what "tweaks" the teams make going into the 2nd period.
