...but guess who has the BEST QB rating in the entire NFL, none other than SUPPOSEDLY "overrated" Michael Vick. When the Eagles make the playoffs, Michael Vick HAS TO BE considered the favorite for NFL MVP. Darren McFadden lead the NFL in YPG at 108 and change. And that is with 20 less carries than the top 3, Peterson(MIN), Bradshaw(NYG) and Foster(HOU).

Also of note, Colt McCoy, in 3 games against Pittsburgh, New Orleans and New England ranks SECOND in active QB's in completion percentage at 67.6%, just behind Drew Brees!!!! He was accurate in college and it's translating into the pro game!

With all due respect to your Hot/Not list Bill, besides the NY Giants, Oakland Raiders and maybe the Green Bay Packers, I don't think there's a hotter team in the league right now than the Cleveland Browns. I'm serious too. This isn't just homer speak.

Maybe you put more stock into the overall record, but right now, currently speaking, the Browns are coming off absolute mauling's of two of the best teams in the league in the Saints and Pats. Not sure if anyone else around the league has done that in back to back weeks against two top notch teams and in as convincing fashion. Perhaps it'll take another beat down of a respectable team in order to get some credit....

See you Sunday New York Jets. I'll be there to greet you along with 60,000+ other Cleveland Browns fans!

Whoa, easy there buddy!:)

In the future I'll list it as "Top 10" and not "Hot 10". But surely you can see, the teams I have in the top 10 are the teams with the best records.

BTW, I gave your Browns and the Raiders their much deserved props in this thread on Sunday. ;)

And I thank you Bill. I am realistic about my RAIDERS...they are hot but until they do this with CONSISTENCY....all they have is become a very competitive team....not a playoff team.

The teams you have in your top 10....deserves to be there. Neither the Raiders nor Browns do yet.

Oh stop it. I'm talking HOT. Maybe my idea of "hot" is different from that list. You can look in the paper for standings, I was talking hot, as in en fuego, right now! I'm not that delirious to start talking playoffs just yet. :)

LOL....if you are crazy enough to think Lebron took a "curse to Miami"...then your are more than capable of graduating into those "playoff possibilities" type thinking....

But anything is possible...

It's a shame the Browns don't play the Raiders this year, it really is.

Last night on my way to the Bengals game, one of our radio sports personalities here in Cincy was saying that "although it made him sick to his stomach, he wished that the Bengals were playing not like the hated Steelers, but the BBBBBBrowns." He caught a lot of heat from callers on that. :D

Yes it is. I would love to see Fat-Tub-of-Goo crap in his pants when he sees how different the Raiders are now.

Different team....different attitude.

But I would worry about the AFC North if I was you...just like I will concentrate on then AFC West. No use worrying about things we cannot change and can't do nothing about.

Actually you'd be glad to know that the Tub-O-Goo is doing a fantastic job with this no-name defense.

The defense is called the "amoeba d". For two weeks now, Brady and Brees have been quoted as using words such as "confused" and "uncomfortable" when talking about our defense. Looking forward to how it makes Dirty Sanchez feel this week!

The amoeba defense basically shows the offense nothing. One guy lines up with his hand in the dirt and the rest of them wander around straight up. Then when the ball is hiked, they get into place. It's impossible to read.

Rob is doing such a good job with this defense that I'd be shocked that his name isn't linked to Head Coaching offers next year. Especially considering how well his brother Rex is doing in that position. The Raiders problem is that they never gave Rob enough time to get his system in place. He's actually turning into a very GREAT coach!

Same defense different faces. We will see how he does after a season or two. Then RAIDERS gave him plenty of time develope his defense and whatever player he wanted...he had Al Davis' ear because he was the Crypt Keeper's # 1 gopher. He would go back to Al with all of Lane Kiffin dirt so "he can tell dad" everything. And at one point, he was going to take the Raiders head coaching job...because it was his to take. But after the number the old man did to Kiffin... He smarten up.

He had his chances....believe me...

With the Giants, Saints, Packers, Falcons and Eagles, suddenly the NFC looks like it will field a formidable playoff field.

Yeah...some of the divisions are open as well as the wildcards. In the AFC, forget it. The JETS, PATS, STEELERS, RAVENS, TITANS and Colts. The ONLY place where it is still wide open, it's the AFC West....where even San Diego as risen from the ashes. Man this is going to be fun! The AFC West can be won with an 8-8 record!

San Diego won with an 8-8 record a couple years ago. Almost had a 7-9 record.

And the NFC West could be won with a 7-9 record!

IMO, ALL FOUR AFC West teams are better than any of the four NFC West teams.

Yup, that amenia defense did wonders against the Steelers with the Steeler's third string QB playing .... 28-10 Steelers if I'm not mistaken.
