FSD on the small screen (Sling) but would rather be watching them on the big screen. Regardless, I cannot believe Verlander won't be coming out for the 8th inning - he looks fine and has been getting stronger the past few innings. It's not his best effort but he only game up three (3) hits and struckout 10 after 7-innings. I just hope our bullpen is able to finishing the job.

The Pen when Benoit arrived was suppose to be the team strength, it hasn't worked out quite that way, Benoit struggled early, but has been doing better of late.

All Over, Tigers win 4-3 and AL Central lead back to 3 ..... definitely NOT what Tribe fans were hoping for.

J. Verlander pitched well, didn't have his Great stuff tonight, but only gave up 3 hits in 7 innings, 10K's with 3 walks.

Btw, This was Verlander's 100th win !

Yeah! Papa Grande hold 'em in the 9th and we manage to pickup a win in this series. Now it's on to Baltimore where we can hopefully beat-up on the hapless Orioles. We shall see.

I considered attending this weekend games and staying with my mother in-law, but I had to run to her house yesterday (computer problem and install an HDMI cable for her Dish HD DVR) so I'm in no mood for the drive, the mother in-law nor watching Perry for that matter.

I should've went to Wednesday's game instead.

The youngster at third (Chisenhall) cost us the game again! In the first inning, he overthrew first. The runner advanced and eventually scored on his error. There were other moments in the game where he didn't make a play that could've been made by Jack Hannahan (guy to start at third for us at the beginning of the year). I realize Chiz might give the club a better offensive bat, but at some point, defense has to be considered when playing this guy! He stinks! And we have a guy sitting on the bench with the second best fielding percentage among all third basemen!!! GET JACK HANNAHAN BACK OUT THERE!!!

Oh well. Good game and good series! See you next week Detroit!

It definitely was a good series. I'm going to the game next Sunday when Cleveland comes to Detroit even though they have lost all 4 games I have been to this year.

I know Penny has been terrible lately but I have a feeling he is going to get a win against Baltimore today. I'm also going to predict that KC takes 2 out of 3 from Chicago this weekend to cool them back off. Unfortunately Cleveland should beat up on the Twins.

The Indians have activated Shin Soo Choo from the DL & finally designated Austin Kearns for assignment. Choo should be back with the team in a week or so.
