My Raiders made a few quiet moves that I am happy with. Still plenty of holes.. on the OL and the secondary. As it stands, out defense will be better, which was a MAJOR issue. There is still more money than everyone else even after their current move. They have the 5th overall pick, but I think it will all depend on 3 of the 1st 4 teams that need a QB. I like Pryor's athletic ability, but he has WAY too many issues reading defenses. McGloin has some cojones, but he is WAY too much of a gunslinger. We shall see.

After getting out of rehab "clean and sober" and a born again christian, Fidel Goodell will publicly state how proud he is of Irsay for tacklin' his demons etc.

IE- nothing will happen except for the idle threat if it happens again

If this is Goodell's way to try to get the Jets into the playoffs, he might as well expand the playoffs to 32 teams.

Ugh! I get your point. Allowing more crappy teams into the post season will just "dilute" the product.

The NFL looks like it could expand the playoffs by two teams in time for the 2015 season, according to Peter King at the MMQB. This would increase the potseason field to 14 teams, instead of 12. It would also mean that there would be an added wild card game in each conference.

Way to go Goodell, dilute the playoffs even more ....

Soon it will be the NHL/NBA when 1/2 the teams qualify.

It use to MEAN something to make the playoffs ... soon it will be a forgone conclusion ...

If you don't make the playoffs you suk (once they continue to expand, don't think it will stop there either)
